I'll wait to see how that one looks painted and then I guess get one of them. I would prefer a painted scale figure or even better a Hot Toys figure. But no way is Hot Toys going to make Robotech figures. You mean this one? Quote

Convectuoso Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 It's been a while since we got news from Kitz Concept future releases. There's been no announcement since the Rick Hunter figure Quote
jenius Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 I wouldn't say that, they showed like five VF-1 variants, so I think it's safe to say they've got their hands full. Quote

Convectuoso Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Well, that's something we all suspected, I guess. The bad thing is that now our chances of getting Southern Cross mecha toys went back to zero Quote
derex3592 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I'll believe it when i have it in my hands. Quote

I dunno. It's got the benefit of actually existing in real life as compared to most of anything Southern Cross, so there is that. Quote

JetJockey Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I guess it's ok. I'm still looking for the hovertank or cycle. And that Dana figure that was shown a while back. Quote

I don't know; when it comes to Southern Cross, physically existing could be seen as a negative. Edited August 10, 2019 by anime52k8 Quote

If it had some articulation , that would be very cool. 22 hours ago, Seto Kaiba said: Funny, the "garbage" is the Millennium Falcon. Hailed as a piece of junk by almost everyone in Star Wars who isn't Han, yeah... but as with there, any port in a storm right? It's not like anyone else is putting out a Bioroid kit. Presumably the expert modelbuilders here and on Facebook could make it a little less rubbish-looking, though it'll never not be a bad copy of the Zaku II. Quote
Bolt Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Lol! Ya, i have no doubt a better bioroid could be modeled. But , really, how high on the list is it ?? When it comes to Zaku's , i just stick with the 1/144 hg's Bandai puts out. Though my Gundam collecting days are WAY behind me. Quote

Convectuoso Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Last night I received my Bioroid model kit assembled and painted by Al Espina's Lair They also painted these 1/100 3D prints by Plastic Cretins for me Quote
Tober Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Very nice! Is the red Bioroid the old SOL kit? Quote
Convectuoso Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Then I guessed it right. They're developing this with an Italian guy who made a variable Legioss in 3D not long ago. Quote
Mazinger Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) I got lot's of love for SC. I've even worked it into my own Super Dimensional head canon (Zor ship take off from Earth just before Kei detonates the space/time bomb leading to them being sent back in time. Kei get's back at the end of Orguss just in time to survive Space War 1 [or not]. Glory colonization is then just part of a UN Spacy colonization plans.) I'd love to get some hover tanks and bioroids. I always liked those 2 designs. Edited February 23, 2020 by Mazinger Quote

As did I, which is why it's so frustrating to see what little merchandise we get fail so spectacularly... This new MEP design appears to ignore the animation models entirely, and instead use the Matchbox toy for reference (with predictably disastrous results). Back to the drawing board, guys. Quote
jenius Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 1/48 is a crazy small scale for southern Cross. Quote
Big s Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I just think the spartas deserves better, it doesn’t look great in any mode. Usually with a transforming item fro old school anime at least one mode looks really great, then the rest suffer a little. But that thing looks off in every mode. Quote

505thAirborne Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 The Spartas needs to be 1/24 scale at the very least, to small in 1/48. Looks ok but still needs a lot of refinements. Quote

captain america Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I hate being a voice of dissent, but that's just horrible. Whatever may have been said about the aborted MAAS offering, the previews they had shown were leaps and bounds ahead of this. When will people ever learn that quality is the cheapest and fastest path to success? Quote
