MisaForever Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Um...in official Macross Mecha Books...? I think he means on this board, Gubaka Quote
sketchley Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Try some of the links off of the main page: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/_main_menu.htm especially the magazines, books, and model kit sections. Quote
azrael Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 There are lots of image sites out there. Not to mention a lot of us invest our money in artbooks. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 If you're looking for lineart, might I suggest Mr March's Macross Mecha Manual. Most of it's colored, but that's the only modification to the art. Quote
valhary Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 you are looking something in specific Quote
UN Spacy Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Where did you find that VF-25S art valhary? It's significantly bad ass. Quote
IXTL Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Where did you find that VF-25S art valhary? It's significantly bad ass. That's the 1/72 PLAMO box art. Quote
MegaX Posted December 31, 2008 Author Posted December 31, 2008 you are looking something in specific Not really anything in specific, just cool pics like the one you had there.^^^^^ Quote
Zinjo Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) Do searches on imageshack, picshare, deviant art, etc... and any of the various image hosting sites and you will find lots of artwork. The animesuki forums has some (although mostly character art) and various art threads in the "Fan Works" section here can have art work. Though there isn't any dedicated section on these forums for artwork. The 3M is a good place to start for quality fan colored mecha images, but not the only place to find it (since I am noticing more and more the 3M images as well as ones posted here, showing up on other sites... ). Although as Azreal said, try investing in art books of your own since quite a bit of Macross production art has not be digitized or posted on the web... Edited December 31, 2008 by Zinjo Quote
badboy00z Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 That craft on the right (frontier mystery fighter) looks like the VF-2SS. Quote
taksraven Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 That craft on the right (frontier mystery fighter) looks like the VF-2SS. OH GOD!!! The "mystery" fighter can of worms has been opened again!!!! Taksraven Quote
sketchley Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 In a way it makes sense. Big West says, "hey, we got a bunch of dusty boxes with Macross II videos and laser discs in them. Plug 'em in the next series, please. Pretty please!" Quote
MegaX Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 What episode of Frontier was that mystery fighter from? It looks pretty cool! I don't think it's a VF-25S Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 What episode of Frontier was that mystery fighter from? It looks pretty cool! I don't think it's a VF-25S 5... or 7... I forget... They're both worth watching Quote
