VFTF1 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 So... a few days ago, I changed my avatar from everyone's favorite Macross character Basara (ow! stop throwing eggs at me) to EVA-O1... Since then, whenever I log in on my computer, I see EVA-01, but whenever I log in on my laptop...I see Basara...although he's become rather blury. What do you guys see? I would like EVA-01 to be my avatar, but I don't know if it is. Am I doing something wrong (quite possible, since I'm somewhat of a computer clutz) Thank you, Pete Quote
promethuem5 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 You just need to delete the cache on your laptop to clear out the old avatar when you're viewing... it shows as Eva-1 for everyone else now regardless. Quote
Vostok 7 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 For what it's worth, I get the EVA-01 at home, and the Bisho... sorry Basara here at work. Vostok 7 Quote
VFTF1 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Thanks Promethum. I now see my self as a 100 foot tall humanoid with the soul of a woman, strapped by controling binders put in place by her husband and carrying her child in her spinal cord rather than as an aloof, high minded, arrogant rock star on a distant interplanetary convoy who sings love songs to zombies. Pete Not getting the Wendy's mustard analogy really destroyed your sense of self-esteem, huh? Anyway, I find that whenever I change my avatar, the old one hangs around for a day or so...but it gets alternatately stretched or crunched to fit the dimensions of the new avatar. Quote
