Rbstr Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 At first I was apprehensive about this show. But now it's like one part Macross idol singers, one part TTGL surpass the impossible/kick reason to the curb and one part fanservice parody. One of the better ones this season, for sure. Dan being a complete and utter idiot somehow manages to work, even though I normally hate those character types. Quote
JB0 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Last episode was actually disappointing to me. I'm hoping it was just a one-off, and not because of the staff changes. The double-episode format and fake commercials were good for a grin, though. Quote
wolfx Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 There's a Nike-san. And the growing yaoi-ness between Falcon and Iceman is getting on my nerves. >_< Quote
JB0 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 And Basquash 13 is back to awesome! TEAM SPANKY FOREVER! Quote
Rbstr Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Man...this weeks basquash seems to have take a turn toward to more hardcore. Fights to the death an all. Quote
Beltane70 Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I just watched the raw of ep 17. This episode had me coming up with this wacky theory: Earthdash and its moon are Protoculture influenced worlds. How weird would it be to find out that Basquash! is actually a Macross spinn-off? Quote
wolfx Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 i'm doing some catching up with this show and lol....Nike-san managed to squeeze in new shoes for cross-marketing. Up till ep 15 and i feel this show's quality still has not gone down the sinker...and its really amazing what they can accomplish with a budget!! Quote
miriya Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 http://hlj.com/product/BAN959292 Not sure if this is old news.... Quote
dreamweaver13 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) Finished the whole dang series in one day (seriously, i couldn't stop). Throw all physics out the window, but, man, i thoroughly enjoyed this show. Next time I play basketball, i'll either shout DE-SSSTROYY! or BASSS-QUASSHHHH!! And I loved the music. Particularly the first Ending theme. Edited February 7, 2010 by dreamweaver13 Quote
dreamweaver13 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Earthdash and its moon are Protoculture influenced worlds. How weird would it be to find out that Basquash! is actually a Macross spinn-off? That's exactly what I thought. I wouldn't be surprised if they happened in the same macross universe, and Earth Dash just happened to be another world that the PC played around with. Heck, a cross-over could even work. Quote
