SpaceCowboy Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Not remotely macross related, but Yamato related, so I thought people on this board might know something. Anyone know anything about this. The mech looks cool, but I don't know what they mean by "build your own mech". Any thoughts? Does anyone know in what way you can interchange parts or what future accessories are coming out for it? http://www.tmpanime.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=2357 Quote
LtStick Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 My understanding is in the future there will be additional parts that can be purchased to customize it. Unsure what exactly will be available for this in the future other then obviously weapon packages. I have it on pre order from Twin Moons. I can't wait to see what will be available for this in the future. Quote
one_klump Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Looks like a really interesting line of toys, gonna have to keep my eyes open for these. Quote
miriya Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Yeah. I like the look of these too. I am thinking about getting one. Quote
gerwalk25 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I reminds me of a bulky Metal Gear Rex. Very cool. Quote
doodler7 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Yeah, after seeing these things ... during my college years I've thought about creating these figures that you can update and add armor later on with future releases. Props for the 1980s Centurions influence, Max Ray, being my first action figure...stolen from me while still at the mall. Well anyway, it will be interesting and partly exciting to see how Yamato market these and see if a show will be made out of it. Yamato, do you need mecha toy designers or concept artists? Let me know what I need to show to get contracted artwork for you. Heh. Quote
holytoledo69 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Any updates on this figure? Online review? It looks nice. I just hope its not just a chunk of solid non articulated PVC/plastic/ABS. And its 1/48. How big can it possibly be? Quote
Roger Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 It is apparently dog poo: http://toyboxdx.com/phorum/read.php?1,187183 Quote

Zx31 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 That's a shame. It looks like a nice figure from the promotional pictures. Quote
miriya Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 The dropship version looks nice. I am having trouble finding the image... Quote
Zx31 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I wonder if the LE Camoflage version is going to be any better. Quote
