Getsuga Tenshou Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 This is supposed to be out in December right? Are there any news for the intended release? The VF-1S Hikaru DYRL version already has some pics in the VF-1 thread. How about this one? Is it possible that the VF-0S release will be pushed back further? Quote
wwkkim Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Sorry to steal your thread, but is VF-0S v2 completely new one from the version 1? Quote
jenius Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=27514 Read that thread then consider yourself as up to date as everyone else. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 guess it's out... VF-0S re-issue c/o Toy-Wave Quote
Repiv_Onex Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Sorry to steal your thread, but is VF-0S v2 completely new one from the version 1? I guess he mean the 2nd release of VF-0? If that's the case, the title should be rename as VF-0S 2nd release or whatever suitable name. Quote
ff95gj Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 (edited) guess it's out... VF-0S re-issue c/o Toy-Wave I still haven't seen it in the local shop... But if this site carries it, it means it's already released. Darn! How much money do I need this month? Edited December 16, 2008 by ff95gj Quote
General Chaos Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Oooh.. Finally! Had this bad boy pre ordered and payed back when the AU$ was nearly 1:1 with the US$. Quote

ff95gj Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 i'm sure you'll have enough $$$ for everything... Sarcasm noted. If Tomahawk OD and Defender get delivered "on time" (supposingly Dec too), that means 7 units in a month. I have to dig in my saving to pay for all those! Quote

Scream Man Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 The dollar fall is the reason i have decided to pass on Destroids. Id love to have them, but at about $200 aussie, I just can't justify it. As for the new OS; good luck all! Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 (edited) Next the re-release of the Yamato VF-0S is now scheduled for December. As for those who are wondering the word is they are adjusting the shape of the arms to try and fix the problem they had with the first production model. - from OVERDRIVE's newsletter. If another one of these VF-0S / Which one should i buy threads pops up i'm going to cry honestly. Edited December 16, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
Chet Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 So these will be different from the supposedly fixed VF-0S that comes bundled with the Ghost? Quote
jenius Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 That's the word on the street. Yamato was looking for a different solution to the shoulders from the all POM approach they allegedly tried on the Ghost release. Quote
edwin3060 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Perhaps they have found a different solution from their VF-1 v2 line? The 1A and 1J seem to be problem free so far, from what I gather from the VF-1 thread, without the use of POM. Quote
jenius Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 It's all too soon to tell. Hopefully we'll have answers some day. Here's to hoping Graham gets a phone call from a slightly inebriated Yamato employee who spills all the beans... barring that maybe just a phone call from yamato that references the few pressing issues right now. Haha yea... whats with the new cut off from Yamato? Did someone else post leaks again, or is Yamato too busy, or is Graham too busy? (Fully understandable if Graham is too busy with life, this is just a hobby afterall.) I really liked reading through the old threads where Graham would have a preview of the toy and it would be like Christmas day for the forum =). Quote

Luckily my wishlist is slightly more spread out, with the DX line and the VF100s line not out yet... Quote

ff95gj Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 review please... as soon as you get one. I don't know what to do tomorrow. I used to buy toys when my wife is late for home from work; but tomorrow she would have half-day leave. The Hikaru 1S and VF-0S would be there tomorrow!!!! Aiya! Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 WOW, tomorrow??? sweet! pics mate, pics!! Hikky 1S will be in stock soon too... hmmm Quote
ff95gj Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 (edited) Actually the Hikaru 1S would be in the shop on Sat officially. But I've heard that it would be earlier. Can't be sure about this one. The date for VF-0S though, is answered by the shop owner himself. Please, Defender and Tomahawk OD, don't come out in time! Edited December 18, 2008 by ff95gj Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Make sure if you can, take pics of the arm to show everyone the differences Yamato made to hopefully fix the cracking issues. Quote

ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 (edited) Nah mate, the arms are supposed to be a new shape/design. reason why a few of us ordered from Overdrive because they were the only ones thus far knowledgeable of that fact. Edited December 18, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote

Oh! The arms are having a new design this time? Cool. Good that I restrain myself from placing order on the VF-0S+Ghost combo from HLJ. It was too expensive to me with the shipping (and the Yen of course). I'll have to unpack the 0A to find the difference too... Thanks for the info! Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 (edited) No worries! Everyone is really eager to see what changes have been made. Hope it's extra tight too. This release could be right up there with the YF-21 for mine, as the 0S has realy grown on me with repeat watchings of Zero. And Roy for that matter! Edited December 18, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote

ruskiiVFaussie Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 (edited) He just does so much in it, and it stands outmore than the VF-0A Shin, and battroid mode is soooo much better than Shin's, i really don't dig the 0A in battroid mode at all. ZeroS is the only one for me! Still love the 0A fighter mode though... Edited December 18, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
