RavenHawk Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 How about the Terminator in bike form? I thought they are pretty cool.. I think use of wheel is more logical than on feet, at least the balance would be much easier and "running" would be fast with just ramping up the wheel instead of joggling (which is kinda slow and less efficient) Those mototerminators definitely look cool, but I don't think they're variable. I think that that form you see in the ads is their only one, they don't unfold or anything in regular terminators. Quote
RavenHawk Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 For those not following the Transformers threads on here, here is the toy of the new Arcee. Again, wheels for feet... As I said in the other thread, I assume that how awful her robot mode and Chromia's robot mode look are going to be justified by the two of them and the third bike combining into a bigger robot. Jasonc Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 That Arcee is the by far one of the ugliest transformers I've ever seen. Even the older transformers, like Ironhide looked better. Definitely not liking this. Anyways, onto the subject at hand, I'm looking for the Bubblegum crisis pics I have so I can send them to you. You may already have them. They are from the Artmic books, so once I find that, I'll send it your way. Quote

If they're from some other Artmic books, like B-Club specials or something, then I don't have them yet. Quote
Jasonc Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I'll take a look when I can find the damn CD. Again, my problem of not labeling crap when I get it. Just a stack of stuff unlabeled like a present. Quote

RavenHawk Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 Here's something I stumbled across that I figured belongs in this thread. Very nice, thanks. I already had it in the list of variable bikes, but did not know that BBTS used to carry it. I've only seen it on Japanese sites and eBay. Time to post the updated list, I guess. Quote
kanedaestes Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Don't know what it's from but it looks sexy... http://studio-halfeye.com/works/maneuver_b...mblade_top.html Quote
RavenHawk Posted July 18, 2009 Author Posted July 18, 2009 Don't know what it's from but it looks sexy... http://studio-halfeye.com/works/maneuver_b...mblade_top.html That's the main character's manuever-blade from Viper's Creed. Liked the show a lot, GORGEOUS toy, but just can't justify $500 for it. Quote

RavenHawk Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Cool looking toy. Yup, it is just a little too much for a 17cm tall toy. Yeah. I was hoping for a normal bike scale like 1/18th, but when I did out the math a couple months back this came out to, I think, 1/24th or so, maybe even smaller. Really tiny for the price, though gorgeous and understandable considering what a niche product this is. Quote
RavenHawk Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 HoiHoi-san LEGACY Oboro Plastic Kit What is this from? Quote
Vespaeda Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Hoi-Hoi-san sounds like a lot of fun. No better kid fantasy than to shrink down to insect-size armed with weapons to take 'em on mano a mano! Quote
RavenHawk Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Aren't the Busou Shinki (if I'm remembering the spelling correctly) a similar concept? Those toys also have a couple variable bikes. Quote
VF5SS Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Both lines are meant to represent tiny robots in 1/1 scale. Although HoiHoi-san represents more of a practical product. Quote
Tober Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 This is a scan from April Dengeki Hobby. These appear to be new upcoming Busou Shinki transformable bikes. They look pretty cool, not really a fan of the 'bunny' thing tho. Quote
Atharun Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Not sure if anyone has seen this before but MAHQ has an unused Garland design up. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/megazone23/megazone23.htm Quote
PetarB Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 That unused Garland has a weapon that looks straight out of Mospeada. Quote
RavenHawk Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 That unused Garland has a weapon that looks straight out of Mospeada. Well, they were both designed by the same person, so it's not surprising. I like the similarities. Quote
PetarB Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I thought that was the case. I like the similarities too! Quote
