taksraven Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 "FAN MOVIE to be released next year" Thank you mods. Taksraven
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 well I suppose I should post something. I havent found much more and I dont remember everything I posted here but I think I havent posted many bioroid pictures
taksraven Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 well I suppose I should post something. I havent found much more and I dont remember everything I posted here but I think I havent posted many bioroid pictures Thanks for that. To be honest, I thought that the original bioroid designs were pretty good and unique for a non-transforming unit type. I wonder how these people think that their designs are an improvement? Taksraven
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 well, I'm not a bioroid expert at all, but their designs look the same to the originals to me, except they are made in 3d and not hand drawed. Which are the differences?
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 this is the original bioroid design, though it isnt hand drawed animation, I suppose its the exact same design
Wes Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 True, but it feels like we are kicking em when they're down anyway. This crap is never going to fly so whats the point? Again, hello and welcome to The Internet.
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 if you want something set in the Macross Saga, so you have more reasons to complain, here you have
VF5SS Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) Why are there GN particles coming out of the back? Are they stealing from Gundam now? Edited January 3, 2009 by VF5SS
VF5SS Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I meant to write "why" and not "where." I can see them.
Morpheus Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 if you want something set in the Macross Saga, so you have more reasons to complain, here you have For a moment I was thinking it was Freedom Gundam
eugimon Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 For a moment I was thinking it was Freedom Gundam this may be the only time when I'll actually defend the Freedom... but come on, the freedom doesn't look THAT BAD!

taksraven Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 LEARN FROM THE MASTER. http://rdfhqcommunicationscenter.yuku.com/topic/815?page=1 Scary stuff alright. This quote from "Khyron Prime" bothered me..... "You wanna complain about CG? Take it to Tommy Yune's blog... ;-)", .....especially if its a message from THAT Khyron Prime. (Think pies, forbidden subject) Taksraven
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) yeah, but it's true Shadow Chronicles cg is really bad. The Ikazuchi vessels look like flying cardboard boxes and the battloid Alpha fighters look like toys, the lack of details in their surfaces is scary. I havent seen worse cg in an official animated mecha movie Edited January 3, 2009 by kamikaze_kamujin
eugimon Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 hee hee, it's like arguing over which pile of crap smells more.

I havent seen worse cg in an official animated mecha movie It would seem to me, though, that die-hard RT fans who criticise the film are ungrateful bastards though, they should just be happy that the project was completed, esp. since every single attempted RT revival project before it bit the dust. Better to have a steaming pile of shite rather than none at all? Taksraven
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 hmmmmm... it would be like Macross doesnt get a sequel for 20 years and after that gets a Shadow Chronicles? or do you think it's ok because it's Robotech?
eugimon Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) It's okay because it's Robotech. A derivative, soulless amalgamation of other, more talented, people's ideas and work deserves a derivative, soulless sequel. Edited January 3, 2009 by eugimon

Keith Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Technically, since the next part of Shadow Chronicles is at least a year late, and showing no real signs of being in any kind of production, it's a failed sequal too.
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 (edited) Technically, since the next part of Shadow Chronicles is at least a year late, and showing no real signs of being in any kind of production, it's a failed sequal too. I agree with Keith that Shadow Chronicles is a failed sequel too, if you remind AX 2002 they said Shadow Chronicles was going to be an ova quality Robotech series to be released in 2004, and they released an 88 minutes movie in 2007 with the cheapest cg available, it looks like they were going to pay for the cg in 2 times, and they coudnt afford the 2nd payment where the 3d model textures were supposed to be made. "Ok, we get it as it is" Besides, Shadow Chronicles wasnt broadcasted anywhere other than in US, just like Robotech The Sentinels And remember how they were supposed to get funds from Funanimation which refused to give it to them? Edited January 4, 2009 by kamikaze_kamujin
Einherjar Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 From the Sentinel's Curse to the Shadow Chronicles Curse, at least Robotech and its fan projects are consistent.
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 (edited) May be HG is now waiting for this fan movie to be released for continuing the Shadow Chronicles sequel, so they dont lose money for people not buying their product but getting a free Robotech movie with better cg instead. Edited January 4, 2009 by kamikaze_kamujin

I'm sure that's it.
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 Or may be they cant get an idiot to give funds for a Shadow Chronicles sequel, that's probably what it is, right?
eugimon Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Or may be they cant get an idiot to give funds for a Shadow Chronicles sequel, that's probably what it is, right? "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." -GWB
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 yeah, though I believe they never got funds for Shadow Chronicles other than from Harmony Gold. So it would be like "you can't be that fool not even once"
kamikaze_kamujin Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 I found this, if someone is still interested
Roger Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I found this, if someone is still interested People here seem to be interested, but I don't think it's for the same reasons you are.
taksraven Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 wow thats ugly. fighter mode is tolerable. Fighter mode looks more like a F-15 than an F-14. Not cool. Taksraven
