Froy Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Hi. Someone is selling this at my school and he told me that he bought it in Europe but I can not find any info about this VF-1D. Quote

sharky Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I have the VF-1J gerwalk. IMHO the gerwalks are not completely horrible. Very much in the style of the SDF:M. I got mine at a very cheap price IIRC. They're nothing to write home about, but are good to have just for collecting. Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 ugh, this is something you want to stay clear away from. It doesn't even transform! It's all fat and ugly looking. Your better off saving your money for the 1/60 v.2 VF-1D if you really want a 1D that transforms. Quote
Scrapnasty Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Some of us don't mind non transforming figures. These were great eight years ago when me and my brother watched Robotech religiously after school. He had the 1D and I had the 1S because I've always been a Focker man. heh. Quote
AcroRay Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Basically a toy made from Arii's 1/100 model kit. If you're a completist, you might consider picking one up if you can score it for $5 or so. But they're pretty dreadful. They do come with one of several painted PVC character figures and a nicely little trading card, which might be worth your while. They were released pretty extensively world-wide back in the 90s, so I expect the were available in Europe as well but weren't exclusive to that region. Quote
