Yeah, it was a master cheng (wm-cheng) work. It was nice to follow it, because it was a step-by-step model building and mastering techniques... WM-cheng is incredibly skilled, and I don't know who took some of his photographs and photoshopped a little bit.

I remember some other photo-choppings, all of them very cool.

I believe someone used that model photo as a basis for a similar image of the YF-19 in the rain.

Thats definitely WM CHeng's Hasegawa kit. I can't remember who did it but there was a whole bunch like this put out - great work whoever it was.

Is it supposed to look like its missing one of the canards?

Oh yeah; that a picture of my custom 1:1 YF-19 on my airfield in Italy; right next to my wharehouse of 1/48s and Italian Marble.
