It was built at Newport News... so are you saying maybe Ford-class? *shrug* they might not say exactly (honestly, the Macross PTB never do) but how could it not build such a ship, based on design concepts derived from (later built) Nimitz-class? OR are you suggesting that i should think in terms of Gators, because the Asuka II was built, purposely, with a Stern Gate? Maybe in cannon terms, are first they planned it as Gator, perhaps hiding that capability in apperance of a Super Carrier?

It was designed as an MSDF carrier. The closest we have is the proposed 45,000 t Houshou carrier. But as the Houshou was proposed long after the pre-production for Macross Zero was completed, it's highly doubtful that it'll be anything like the fictitious Asuka.

Anyhow, it doesn't matter. The hole in the back is there for one reason: to fit the Aifosu in after it's recovered from the bottom of the sea.

All about the "Raid" version, AKA "Angel" version, AKA Special Attack-Assault Specification, AKA Kamikaze Assault Specification.

The reactive armour and RA's relationship with the GBP-1S was interesting. Like an hors d'oeuvre. Whets the appetite, but leaves you wanting more.

Aside from the remote control and induced explosive rocket, not much else was unexpected. Interesting though that there were apparently different models of the Cheyenne on-screen in M0. Not that they're visibly different (no, not referring to the one with it's Gatling guns replaced with missile launchers).

Yowzers!

The first page is full of juice! Not only do we get a description of how a space fold works, but also some Trek-like pseudo-science describing how a fold engine works! Top that off with a description of fold carbon / fold coal, fold faults and their effects on subjective time, AND Vajra Queen fold barriers!
