Super Dimension Fortress Macross PS2

Now that I have a PS3 - I have decided to mod my PS2 so I can finally play Super Dimension Fortress Macross.

I know there use to be a VERY LARGE thread on the game, but I can't seem to find it now.

Can some one post a link to any of the best translations guides, game guides, or maybe even a link to the older thread so I can figure out what I need to do?
