Quickie summary: some new kick-a$$ art a lot of picts from the series and magazines "mechanic data file" is dissappointing. It's in the same style as that Newtype article a while back... if you've kept abrest with the magazine articles, the only new stuff are: VF-25 gun pod open & transformation sequence, VF-171EX gun pod, Kaitos, Darufim, Sheryl's shuttle, Battle Frontier, Battle Galaxy, Vajra Lifecycle (Ai-kun), Vajra Semi-Queen, & Vajra Queen. NO STATISTICAL DATA Frontier City navigation (this is the meat and potatos for me. And the only line-art in the book! Backgrounds... anyhow, top, bottom, and side views of the City, and the areas include: San Francisco, Shibuya, Beijing [Peking], Shanghai, Taiwan (!?!?!), and the specific locations of the President's Office, Mihoshi Academy, Grafis Park, Space Viewing Park/SMS dock, Military Hospital, Aruto's (family) home, Macross Quarter, and Battle Frontier. They also have a small map of Island 3, with Forumo, Artificial Island (where they filmed the M0 movie), Alien life lab

Jeeez.

I remember that for the last Star Wars con in Mexico they were charging more or less the same JUST for the autograph session... and this one includes the entrance fee and the concert...

Jeeez. Listen to May'N sings = S$8 May'N's Autograph = S$60 May'N's Handshake =S$50 It would be awkard if very few people are buying the $68 or $118 tickets. I could imagine the emptiness of the VIP rows... and a whole bunch of crazy lots behind the VIP rows.

I personally think they are way overcharging on her signatures and handshakres. I've never heard of a con where you pay to GET signatures....at least not around here. We had that Bleach seiyuu come down to Malaysia and we didn't even need to charge entrance fees to that convention what more the signatures. But oh well. In brighter news..... HG can't touch any Macross production past SDFM. BigWest won't have any ally of Tatsunoko distributing their property, not to mention HG has actively engaged in blocking new Macross shows from the US market.

I still highly doubt that Frontier will ever see this side of the pond, without importing the DVDs or piracy. I agree with you that things change, but this has been going on an awful long time.
