Mechinyun Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Hey guys I ran across a copy of the studio nue artbook (bible), both volumes 50 each (ouch). I have perfect memory already.. do these have anything I am really missing for that price? Quote
Graham Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I have both of these books and they are well worth it if you are a fan of Studio Nue's designs. If you are only interesetd in Macross and already own Perfect Memory and the Gold book or Macross Design Works, then no, they are probably not worth it. But if however, you are interested in the large number non-Macross of designs done by Studio Nue, the books are well worth it. Graham Quote
electric indigo Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 How far is Crusher Joe covered in these book? I only have some small pics from the web and would love to have more lineart. Quote
yellowlightman Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Any Starship Troopers stuff in them? Yeah, there's some lineart of the powered armors in the first one (entertainment bible #6). Quote
Graham Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 From the anime or from the novel? From the anime. Graham Quote
Mechinyun Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 Yeah, there's some lineart of the powered armors in the first one (entertainment bible #6). #6? As in volumes? I thought there were only 2? Quote
Gubaba Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 #6? As in volumes? I thought there were only 2? The Entertainment Bible Series is wide and various...but there are only two Studio Nue volumes, of which "Entertainment Bible #6" is the first. Think of it like the Newype 100% Books...it's a huge series, but only four of them are about Zeta Gundam; there's one for Dragonar, one for Evangelion, one for Time Stranger, etc. But they each have a number, since they're all in the same book series.
