MacrossJunkie Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 it's up on Anime Export as well http://www.anime-export.com/u_productpage....rodotti_id=5395
Letigre Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Damnit..I guess it's now the Galctica bluray boxset versus the Quarter. The woman will most certainly shake her head.
ATMacross Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Woot! There goes the savings budget for the year! Quarter and all the valks that are coming out up to that point.
Bluemaxx Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Thanks for the links now i have to figure out if this is worth more than a ticket to MacAus '10 cause it about the same price as a ticket to the gold coast decisions decisions.........
SchizophrenicMC Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Already, I have a wishlist of over $2000. This is going at the back of that list. Frakkin' expensive hobby. It'd take 6 months to make $2000 if I had a job! (Employers don't have to pay people under the age of 16 any more than $5 an hour...)
logos Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Going to be a nice Christmas present to myself. Ah what a great day, I've pre-ordered the DX Macross Quarter and they are coming out with a new Mechwarrior game......it a great day! FYI pre-ordered mine from Hobby Search - they are cheaper than Hobby Link. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10094280
Letigre Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 FYI pre-ordered mine from Hobby Search - they are cheaper than Hobby Link. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10094280 That's weird, they quote the same price in Yen, but their USD estimates are a 7 USD difference.
jenius Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Just a simple exchange rate difference... there are lots of places to pull an exchange rate from and small variances are common.

doodler7 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Looks nice, I'd like to get it....but it looks flimsy...it doesn't look stable. I hope the joints are tight as ufkc to a point where there is no room for wobbles. A similar case is with the initial 1/48 release and their legs. I hate wobbly stuff. They should have made this at 1/3000 scale. Dang. Dang man.
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 What's Bandai's record on small hinges and massive limbs?
MAC25 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Anyone know how tall exactly is the Macoss Quarter is going to be?
blacklotus Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Anyone know how tall exactly is the Macoss Quarter is going to be? About 30cm (1 foot) in robot form. 45cm (16 inches) long in cruiser mode. To: Lonely Soldier Boy: So far so good. My Aquarions, Gunbuster and Getter Robos from Bandai's Chogokin series are still standing tall after years of posing.
ntsan Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Amazon jp is the cheapest so far... http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%90%E3%83%B3...=pd_ys_ir_all_2
ff95gj Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I preordered mine in a local shop at US$173. Don't know if it's a smart move... Depends on demand the price may shoot up or fall down substantially. But the price is right so at least I save some trouble.
chen Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Wasn't there also a red version which the Quarter fought near the end of the series? Or was that one of the larger versions? It's been awhile since I've watched this show.

It's been awhile since I've watched this show. That was Battle Galaxy which was like Battle Frontier, alot bigger than the Quarter!
GRAND CANNON Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Via http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/iam-cybergundam/:
Salamander Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Does anyone know whether the elevators on the flight deck are functional (seeing they appear to be separate pieces on the preview pictures)?
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 (edited) They're probably just separate pieces glued in place to make 'em look functional. Edited July 13, 2009 by Lonely Soldier Boy
505thAirborne Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 The Mac Quarter looks so awesome, this may be the coolest thing that Bandai has done so far with the MF series!!
Cent Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Yea I really like this figure. Hopefully it will give more incentive for Yamato and Bandai to produce more cruiser/capital ship molds. Repaints are pretty limited on them, and they cost one hell of a lot... But damn are they awesome. I am a little concerned about the shoulder joints though, so I will be waiting on post-release feedback. Gotta have that gerwalk VB-6 though ^^
macrossnake Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Via http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/iam-cybergundam/: nice pic. But the link is not working.
Guest sh002 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 does anyone think the little figures will be painted? damn i'd love a whole line of little figures to go with the macross quarter.
MacrossJunkie Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I have no idea how big they are compared to the MQ toy, but those mini figs seem grossly out of scale with each other.
VFTF1 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 If only they added a Bobby Gashapon to the package... Still - nice Macross Quarter! Happy. Pete
