bake_art Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 (edited) Hi guys, I'll be posting valkgirl pics here from now on so as to not be a post-whore or something... Oh yeah, feel free to post your pics of valkgirls here as well anyway here's an 'Angel of Death', enjoy Edited November 3, 2003 by bake_art Quote
EXO Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Man that's cool... maybe you should give he black hair ot some kind of Goth look if your going to call her the Angel of Death... just a suggestion. I say again November is ValkGirl Month!!! awesome! Quote
dna Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Don't like. Way too skinny, htough the Valk kinda forces you to do that. Mostly, that protrubance around the groin area just doesn't look too sexy on a girl. Should have been a Valk man. Quote
hellohikaru Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Is that some kind of Varuata valk ? What model is it ? Quote
Macross_Fanboy Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 It's supposed to be the SV-51/52 from Macross Zero. Can't you tell by the wings? Quote
hellohikaru Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 ooppss my bad...i was too focus on the head. Quote

Getting slightly tired of valkgirls myself, so I might stop drawing valkgirls for a while until I get into it again (i.e. when my hikaru 1S arrives ) Quote

ulyssesdraco Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 cool. That kinda reminds me of those power suits from the matrix III and the animatrix: the second renaissance. Quote

Mechmaster Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Its been a long time since I've done any drawing but I had to try something for this thread, I rushed it a bit but its not the worst thing I ever produced and I may have another go when I have more time and better light. Quote
EXO Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Nice one Mechmaster.. now how about giving us one in 3D??? LOL... Quote
UN Spacy Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Hey now! It's good to know we're all celebrating Valkgirl month in style.......now bring on the VF-0 Valkgirl. Great job on the pics! Quote
yellowlightman Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Very cool Mechamaster! I like how the coloring looks like an animation cel, very very nice. Quote
Mechmaster Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Exo - Don't think I haven't thought about it, I'm still refining my technique for building CG cuties but maybe one day... Yellowlightman - I actually created it cel style, the image is painted on a sheet of clear acetate using modelers enamels and then scanned and cleaned up a bit on the PC. Quote
Beware of Blast Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Very nicely done Mechmaster. More please! Quote
Dangaioh Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 (edited) Image has been updated.... though the skin tone is a weeee bit too light.... granted there needs to be more work done to the overall body... I also have to admit, this is not better than most artist have post... but I am playing w/photoshop to do what I need. http://www.geocities.com/gundam12/macgirl.html Edited November 6, 2003 by Dangaioh Quote
Mechmaster Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Here is my second attempt, this one coloured entirely in PaintShopPro, (real paint takes too long to dry). I went for the movie version this time and a slightly more dynamic pose. I might try some Destroid gals next, depends how much free time I can make. Quote

Dangaioh Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Here is my Tomohawk Girl..., image still needs color and no I don't have a scanner yet... *grumble*grumble*grumble*... but I am hoping once I color this I should be able to bring out some of the details. here is the link to Tomohawk Girl: http://www.geocities.com/gundam12/macrossg...girl/tgirl.html Quote
Mechmaster Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Here are a couple of work in progress shots of my first virtual valkgirl. Still quite a bit to do but I was able to get this far by simply adapting parts from my existing CG battroid model. Any and all aspects of the model may yet be changed before I consider it complete.
