t040484 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 i just got it yesterday, and just cant make the missiles stay on the wings especially right wing, am i screwed? anybody has any problem like this? and how to fix this? did yamato offer parts for wing? any help is appreciated thank you Quote
transfan52 Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Well I've never had that problem with my VF-0A. Do the missiles go on at all or are they just very delicate and fall off easily at the slightest touch? If the later is the case then you should be ok... After I put all the attachments of the ghost booster on my VF-0A they always fall off easily at the slightest touch. If you are having problems with the wing attachments then you might want modify the wing pegs by drilling them out and putting tiny magnets on the contact points of both the attachments and the wing. t040484 Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 the missiles go in very easy, but wont stay put i was thinking about using tamiya cement? will that solve my problem? Quote
jenius Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 lots of options. If it's just a fit problem you can dab a little something (some people just use clear nail polish) on the peg that fits into the wing's hard point to thicken it up so it will stay. That said, this is the first time I've heard of this problem with the VF-0. Quote
::NXS:: Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 My VF-0A original 3 missile clusters attach very well. When I got the Ghost fo it, the brown rocket launchers attach a little weak, but ok, and the fuel tanks were reaaally flimsy. Did the old nail polish trick, as Jenius suggests, and now everything attached securely. You'll have to re coat the every so often, depending how much you put them on and off the Valk. Quote
Scream Man Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Yeah all of mine fit well too. the Naiol polish solution offered above is your best bet. Quote
Raytype Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Like Jenius said, use a dab of clear nail polish until you get the right fit Quote
