Roy Focker Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Screen Legend died today at 83. Off Topic yes but give it a day. Quote
GobotFool Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 dang. A couple of good entertainment icons have left us this year... Quote
areaseven Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 The Color of Money will never be the same without The Hustler. Good ol' Doc Hudson always made the long, hot summer worthwhile with his unforgettable performances in Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Slap Shot, among others. He also graced our dinner tables with his wonderful line of salad dressings and other fine food products. R.I.P. Paul Newman, for somebody up there likes him. Quote
taksraven Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Another legend gone. Taksraven (In before lock) Quote
eugimon Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Not only a great actor but by all accounts a great and generous human being. Quote
Max Jenius Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 That's crazy! I JUST bought some of his salad dressing a couple days ago. Then yesterday or the day before I looked him up on wikipedia and just saw that he had died and just assumed he'd been dead for a while. Quote

Do me a favor and pick up a can of Hulk Hogan's energy drink the next time you go shopping. I'm curious to see what happens. Quote
Veritas Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Damn, i just caught The Color of Money on TV the other day too. I honestly can't think of a bad performance i've seen him in. Quote
