TheLoneWolf Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 That's hilarious, thanks for posting that! I'm pretty sure that "YF-19" is fan made, and not from any official Macross animation, because its canards are facing the wrong way. Quote
Sildani Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 And huge ventral fins. But it’s not trolling I think - it’s a homage. Quote

505thAirborne Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I was just browsing Ebay for some Macross model kits, some times a good deal pops up and then I saw this on a random auction. Quote
linitrofe Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Hi here! I usually post in toys section but surely I'll start following this thread. This is my son's recent acquisition Quote
mickyg Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Danth, any idea what the reasoning is behind this? That's just all kinds of random (but cool). Quote
UN Spacy Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Arby’s is always on point with their Twitter game. A few days ago they had a Gundam on it...The is the first Macross reference they’ve made. Quote
Mazinger Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 They also did a lot of Street Fighter based promotions. I guess tweeting it isn't that expensive a form of advertising, but it is interesting: Quote

anime52k8 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 This is incredibly inappropriate and also highly NSFW but also stupid funny to me and it is both Macross and weird so it's technically relevant. I just can't stop laughing at the TRANSformer comment. https://myfigurecollection.net/picture/1961070 Quote
Gerli Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Quote Someone suggested I could use one of Dva's spare parts I'm interested... but also scared... Quote

Either Stardock are demonstrating a unit editor and enjoy tickling the dragon's tail, or they REALLY enjoy tickling the dragon's tail. Quote

big F Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Not quite Macross but near enough to say the producers or concept team must be TF or Macross fans. . Transforming planes that help people, all have a Gerwalk mode. Its obviously aimed at kids and cashing in on the movie franchise of Cars and Budgie the helicopter. I see this as an excellent route into Macross for my little one. My wife is not keen on Anime, shes one of those who still thinks cartoons = kids. Quote
big F Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 (edited) Wtf...... that is so blatant an IP rip off Big West and Humungy Gawd should be all over them. cool though. Beats Tesco or Walmart Edited September 28, 2018 by big F Quote

When those shots were doing the rounds on Facebook IIRC it was mentioned that venue is in Chile... South America's got kind of a China-like reputation for not really giving a damn about IP laws, tho I have mainly heard that in relation to software and video piracy. Quote
Seto Kaiba Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Hulu appears to have picked up Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka, which I mentioned way back when has a brief appearance by Colonel Jeffrey Wilder from Macross Frontier. Quote
