Agent ONE Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Not really, that was on OMGmoments... But the ad made it onto business insider, which is a serious site. Quote
VF-15 Banshee Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 At Salt Lake Comic-Con, in the giant LEGO display. Hmm? What's that in the left corner? YUP! Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Sucks for Kakizaki. Just like old times! Quote
Mr March Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I've never seen that shirt before. I can make out Misa but not much else. Lego was very cool Quote
A_Man_and_a_Woman?! Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I've never seen that shirt before. I can make out Misa but not much else. Lego was very cool I'm pretty sure that's one of the Macross World Con shirts. The lego cannon fodder in pieces is an absolute win- especially with what looks like damage control lurking around it. A_Man_and_a_Woman?! Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Cool! Very creative! I take it Robotech is popular there? I'm pretty sure Robotech still has a fairly large following in South America- and I'm talking young fans too, not just old dudes. Quote
Devil 505 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I'm pretty sure Robotech still has a fairly large following in South America- and I'm talking young fans too, not just old dudes. If I remember what they said during the Robotech Academy Kickstarter correctly, they said that Latin America has the largest Robotech following outside the U.S. Quote
A_Man_and_a_Woman?! Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 If I remember what they said during the Robotech Academy Kickstarter correctly, they said that Latin America has the largest Robotech following outside the U.S. I wouldn't doubt it. A while back, before Frontier came out, I did a googled Macross/Robotech cosplay and a lot of the images were from Latin American blogs and I found a few sites that covered Robotech conventions down there. I think they recently did a concert thing for Love, Live, Alive with the guy that did Yellow Dancers songs- I have no interest in L*L*A after suffering through Shadow Chronicles. Quote
Gerli Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Cool! Very creative! I take it Robotech is popular there? Here and across all Latin America as well... together with Transformers they were the most popular robot shows in the late 80's. Quote
wmkjr Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Cool. I see some Robotech and Macross projects on Youtube so I was curious. Quote
Gerli Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Cool. I see some Robotech and Macross projects on Youtube so I was curious. Yep, it's amazing how the fans are doing a better job keeping alive Robotech than HarmonyGold itself. Quote

Gerli Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Hmm... if he knows that I post here I wonder why he never asked for permission to use that image... it's just a little project, not an original work of art or something... Quote
