mcsiaw Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 hi, i m going to construct a diorama for the latest yamato 1/60 vf-1s super strike, sv-51 and vf-0s below is my material: 1) kotobukiya chain base No. 4,6,9,10 <- these are what i can get at the moment. 2) Ground crews. <- these make me headaches. which scale of crew should i use? 1/72 or 1/48? any guys tried out posing them with the valks? hope to hear from ur guys soon. Of course the 1/72 are too small and the 1/48 are too big. That is one reason why I liked the 1/48 line is that there are hundreds of kits and supplies out there in that scale. Also 1/72 is a very standard scale. With the VF-1 you could go 1/72 but with the YF-19/21 and the VF-0 1/48 would pass. Quote
MechTech Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Generically speaking, 1/72 is closest. More realistically, S-Scale for trains (1/64) is closer.
