ianlin Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Can anyone recommend a few reputable, reliable, reasonably priced stores that sell Macross toys? I have done some searching, I have found that prices vary significantly from seller to seller, and there is no way to know if a store is reputable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
ianlin Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Thanks for your quick reply Vegas. Any suggestions for a store in the US? I am planning to order something for my son's birthday, I think shipping it all the way from Japan will take too long and might not get here in time.
M. Frost Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 takes about a week to three weeks to get here, depending on what you go by. for price range, hlj and eBay would be your best bet, though there are some stores located in the US, but sell theirs for more..IIRC
miriya Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 lost and found toys is great. http://laftoys.com/
Spiff Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 There are lots of places. bigbadtoystore.com tisinc99.com (I have always had good service from them) valkyrie-exchange.com tmpanime.com Also make sure you check the black list and straight shooters lists in the for sale and trade forum here on MW. Web stores as well as MW'ers and ebayers are listed.
Sumdumgai Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Tmpanime.com is outstanding, and the guy that owns it is really friendly with great customer service. Valkyrie-exchange.com is where I got my first Yamato valkyries from, and it's great to know that Kevin jumped back in the game, as he's an outstanding guy with great customer service. I've heard lots of nightmare things about tisinc99.com, so beware. You might want to check the blacklist thread in the buy&sell section of this forum. HLJ.com is where I go when I dont get from Tmpanime or valkyrie-exchange. Do not buy from Hobby Search (1999.co.jp) as they are a bunch of thieves.
MacrossMan Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Surprisingly, you can find awesome deals through Amazon.com. Although I have dealt with Tisinc directly on several transactions, I find their prices to be cheaper through their Amazon storefront.
charger69 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 LAFTOYS is always great! Carlos knows what he's doing
sqidd Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I get as much as I can from LAFToys. He is a great guy, great customer service and my favorite part is his business is in the USA. I would much rather give the profit to a fellow countryman. Lost And Found Toys Linky-poo
EXO Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Check the Dealers and the For Sale Forum. Dont forget the Blacklist and the Good sellers thread.
