Yeah, they should provide an additional extra longer cockpit just for the fighter mode.

That is a damn good solution!

yeh just like the gbp-1s armour, normal crotch piece an shorter for those who are afraid of mecha with big dongs

if they'd do that maybe we'd get bigger sized legs for the yf-21...

Ya know, I'd never REALLY noticed how badly the rear of the cockpit fuselage sticks out above the chestplate in Battroid mode before... the VF-1D is lucky to have a straight-line across the top of its chestplate to cover that silly oversight in design. It's almost like it was planned: everything's so nice except for this one little thing, you'd kill to own a better version in the future.

For those who are waiting for it, it is already released.

Nothing special to say about it... Just what you expect from the last VF-1A.

One difference may be that, it is whiter than the 1A and 1S.

And for those who visited the Yamato web site, the super parts looked as dark as the super & strike parts. You can be assured that it is actually the lighter (aka the right TV color).

Hmm... another difference is the box's orientation... The 1A box has the longer sides for the top and bottom, and the 1J box has the shorter sides for those. I know, that does not matter at all, but I wonder why they choose to do that. Now if I want to make a wall out of 1/60 boxes, there would be some difficulty...

Dude! How about some pics?! Don't just tease us like this!

1J looks good. I'm glad the red stripes didn't look so orange like on Yamato website. Fast packs look lighter like TV anime. I'm told by my dealer that the 1J will arrives here next week!

Is it just me, or is the priest collar less pronounced on the -1J compared to the -1S in the background? Maybe it's just the pose and chest place positioning, all I know is I can't get my -1S to look like that without rainbow canopy peeking out.

Damn, the 1J look really good...

Curse those wives and their digital camera hiding ways ! :)

On a serious note - I guess this is good news; although my 1A won't be here till December most likely, which means the 1J will come to me around...umm...much much later :)

Still - this is good because supposedly we now have the obligatory Hikaru and Roy mecha out of the way and maybe we can look forward to a 1D two seeter next?

I am shy to ask her where the camera is, because I can't tell her I want to take mecha porno pictures!

1. I haven't taken any photos for her for a long time;

2. She still hasn't known my new toy friend yet.

And from an ad leaflet, after 1J and Defender (and the re-issue Queadluun-Rau's and the OD Tomahawk!), Hikaru 1S and VF-1D are the next ones lining up.

But then, all of a sudden there are too many products coming up in December (plain 1J, Defender, Queadluun-Rau x2, OD Tomahawk, and man, I love re-typing these names!), it is quite doubtful if everything would be on schedule. A comfort is that, there is no Christmas holiday in mainland China.

P.S. I found the DC now, but I need some private time to take the porno... We'll see.

hah, luckily laftoys.coms charged me for mine a few months back when the dollar was still, relatively, strong against the yen! Thanks for the foresight!

I wonder if they ever charged me for mine? I have not been able to get any replies from them.

I just canceled mine since I'm jobless now : / don't know when in this horrible economy I'll get a new job that pays enough.

There is a great way around this. I remeber that two years ago, for Christmas, I bought myself the 1/60 YF-19 and I bought my gilfriend a skirt, shoes, and a new vest. I took the digital camera and had her put on all of her new clothes, snapped some pictures, and then, "just for kicks" asked her to hold the YF-19 box with the flap open and smile :)

And now that I think about it, your post only convinces me that these problems should never arise. Valkyrie ought to be photographed with beautiful women after all.... the real problem is getting these girls to agree to have their pictures plastered on forums like this one :)...

however, I cancelled my order just the other day coz of the continuing horrible exchange-rate.

The exchange rate is not going to get any better any time soon. I just pray that it stabilizes and stops fluctuating like crazy...and I think it pretty much has reached bottom...hopefully. In any case - just eat less :) Grow your hair out :) Stop buying new socks :) There's always something frivilous to sacrifice in life for what is truly important :)

This sucks :( But there is always welfare - and don't worry about the moral implications: if multimillionaires on wall street can get bailouts, then taking some money from the dole to get a Yamato valkyrie isn't the end of the world, nor a cardinal sin.

Just be happy and do what you can to get these precious valks and cherish them, wives, wars, world economic crises be double darned :)

unemployment insurance isn't 'welfare'... you pay into it, you have a right to collect. :)

That is a good Point Eugimon. Strangely, I work for a non-profit that does not pay into unemployment so if I lost my job here then I would not be able to collect unemployment. But yeah, the economy is really bad and it is effecting us all.

Also, note that the "101" is printed as well. :)

Sorry, where's the 101 printed? I can't see it!

I am still working out whether I like those spare hands or the beefy DYRL hands on the 1S/A better. I guess its for the cartoon accurate look.

Also is the green on the super armour lighter like on the 1/48 version?

Overall looks pretty sweet, glad I pre-ordered mine

nice and sexy.

The same problem in HK... When I reserved mine, the price was like US$95 only. But now the street price is US$105 already.

Yens are now crazy! Hope that it would go down in December, because there are a lot of stuffs I want to buy then...
