Watching the raw .... so let me get this straight, Grace her meds were keeing Sheryl alive (and Sheryl didn't know) and Grace just told her she was going to die without them? .......... Damn that purple haired bitch is badass!

Sheryl said "Even without you I'll be fine" and that is when Grace grabs her and tells her it's not only her career that is dying, but she is too.

Theory:

When Battle Frontier fires it main cannon and the Vajra stops in it's tracks, it seems as if they all want to get shot so they can update the others with anti beam cannon armor. You can see the "update" when Ranka's belly glows indicating the crystals are at work again. Somehow i guess that the cannon aint gonna be around for long.

Ok. The ineffectiveness of Quarter's main gun is retarded.

I think it's obvious what comes next: Quarter with enormous PPB knife, while the bridge crew sing along to Fire Bomber.

No wonder Isamu and Basara get those things off them.

This ep makes me question the timeline.

Did Grace bring Sheryl to the 117th fleet or did Sheryl find herself in Galaxy's slums after it's disappearance.

I can never get Macross universe's tangly life support systems.

No wonder Isamu and Basara get those things off them.

This ep makes me question the timeline.

Did Grace bring Sheryl to the 117th fleet or did Sheryl find herself in Galaxy's slums after it's disappearance.

117th fleet episode was in 2047 and Grace found Sheryl in 2053. Well at least that's when the experiment on Galaxy was conducted. The two pictures that were shown were two different hits in the database.

I swear the more I watch RAWS of anime series, the more I seem to be able to understand. If I am right about the above that is...

In that close up I finally noticed that not only is she missing her bottom, she's also in the process of taking off her top. Doesn't seem like something she would do lol.

Still downloading the RAW so I can't check right now, but from what I remember from the live stream...

Grace said something similar to that, but I remember it as Grace mocking Sheryl telling her she gave her success/fame. Might be remembered it wrong, will check once I d/l the ep

About the Ranka pic:

In the previous episode we didn't get as clear a screenshot, so I wasn't sure it was her or not.

You are likely to be right, although the way it is set up can suggest there is something more.

Another thing:

they recicled even chara design. They guy who tried to sell Alto a dress looked like Leon, and the taxi driver looked like Howard Glass. All clones?

Just finished watching the raw!! Prepared to be spoiled.

Great episode in my opinion.

AWESOME OP. Lion was just great as expected.

I liked how we finally found out that Mao, Grace and Ranshe did indeed work on a project together and Sheryl was the subject although I think she wasn't aware of it till Grace told her. (BITCH!)

The project was called Cosmo Nature and I think involved preventing and managing the V-type infection. I think the date on the article was AD 2047 novermber...Someone can double check that for confirmation as I'm not too sure.

And I'll be damned, Grace is a Dr. and Mao Nome was the project leader.

Grace found Sheryl when she was little, orphaned, starving and alone, raising her to be Sheryl Nome. I'm going to assume Grace gave her the last name Nome as well as the earrings saying they came from her mother. Only explanation of her last name that makes sense to me since Mao was quite old in that picture and me assuming Grace found Sheryl after the 117th fleet was destroyed. I could be wrong of course.

Not as much devellopment as I would have liked but a lot of backstory on what is going on behind the scenes.

Also, Ranka was presented to the people of Frontier as their Lynn Minmay of today and she looked great on that podium. Poor Sheryl though, seeing her fame fall into a spiral. Don't know how she put up that front in front of Klan and Michael.

Klan I love you! That moment where she holds Michael's arm teary eyed and I think she says "Are you seriously not going to tell Alto? You don't understand a woman's heart! Right now Sheryl..." I could have hugged her right there. She knows exactly how she's feeling not wanting to worry the one you love but still wanting them to be by your side eh Klan? ;)

Some Alto devellopment as well as he tries to find why he is fighting in these battles, what he wants to protect. Visits Ozma at the hospital and entrust Ranka to be protected by him. Well I think that's what he said, my japanese is not that great. :lol:

I loved the battle porn and was surprised when Alto's brother came to Sheryl's rescue. Seems like he found a way to get Alto to come home. B))

Can't wait for the subs and the next episode.

Believe it was said that the news flash where we saw Sheryl was from 53, from Galaxy, while the shot of the three together was from 47 and from the 117th fleet. Thus I would conclude the other two weren't involved on whatever Grace did to Sheryl.

. Also just realized something to add to the Deculture cookbook! Coffee = iminent enemy attack. And I was totally expecting that scene to show up sooner or later when Sheryl finds out

she didn't forge her own destiny!

How did that Nose art ever get on the monster with out casuing Ozma to send the entire Monster's maintence crew to the hospital?

I was wondering the same thing. Although as far as nose art goes, it is full of WIN. we need more macross nose art.
