robokochan Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 I got to thinking and if this topic has already be posted...my apologies. Anyway what other Animations the the Froating Head work on? Macross (Of course...) Escaflowne Ghost in the Shell (Movie) That's all I can think of. So any of you who know more about his projects please post away. Rob MN Quote
areaseven Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 According to his interview on an issue of Animerica magazine, he did some uncredited work on Space Pirate Captain Harlock. Newtype USA says his first work was as a guest mecha designer for Tosho Daimos (which was animated by Sunrise and Studio Nue). Other notable works: Crusher Joe Cyber Formula GPX Dangaioh (Now how can anyone forget that?) Patlabor 2: The Movie (If I remember, he designed the spider-type police Labor.) Armored Core (from the first expansion game to AC3.) Kikaioh/Tech Romancer (Pretty much everything in the game.) Quote
Effect Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 Did he also work on the following? Mobile Suit Gundam: 0083 Cowboy Bebop Quote

Capt Hungry Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 Speaking of the Great Froating Head - I picked up Kawamori's design works book for Cyberformula GPX. It's pretty cool. It's laid out the same way as the Macross design book, albeit, not quite as thick. Quote

I believe that explanation can be found in either this forum's Newbie Questions page (in the Macross TV & Movie Series thread) or the old forum's Newbie Questions page. Quote
Commander McBride Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 Those are both copycat pics. the original had Kawamori's eyes shooting lasers, which bounced off a 1/60 box that someone was holding up, and obliterated a group of HG reps, if I remember correctly. Quote
Wes Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 Wasn't he also a Co-writer for Cowboy Beebop? That's what the English credits say. Quote
JELEINEN Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 Wasn't he also a Co-writer for Cowboy Beebop? That's what the English credits say. I don't think he actually wrote anything. Just helped come up with some of the setting. Quote
