stray Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 So how much is Rosetta Stone Japanese? We'll need it if Bandai doesn't want to give us subtitles. Get Rocket Japanese... it's pretty good with a nice grammatical slant. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted August 1, 2008 Author Posted August 1, 2008 Sorry Stray, whats this you and Fly4victory are talking about? a sub'd release of what? cheers. Quote
brouken Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Sorry Stray, whats this you and Fly4victory are talking about? a sub'd release of what? cheers. They're talking about this I think: http://www.rosettastone.com/personal/languages/japanese Language learning software basically. Anyway, has anyone here who bought the MF Blu-rays tried to check if they incorporated BD-Live into them? I'm interested to see if they plan to push through with BD-Live's promise of being able to download additional voice tracks/subtitles down the road. Might be a reason to give the missus. You never know. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted August 1, 2008 Author Posted August 1, 2008 (edited) Ahh, i can't fitt another language in my head. (don't want to i guess lol) anyways i'm still trying to get better with my russian. Be great if we can place some subs on the blue-ray discs. Edited August 1, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote

From what I can understand, the Frontier and upcoming Zero release will allow access to a website link to view a feature called "All that VF". I am not sure if that will mean the disks are really BD-Live enabled. It would be good if they are, then maybe, if the Studios don't plan on adding subs now or in the future, we could petition the Studios to allow a third party to sumbit fansubs for download. Quote
Wurz Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I missed the 1st press. Is the Lineart/ Character Artbook still available on the regular versions of the Bluray? Quote

Tochiro Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Meh, the 'special' cover art is for the DVD only. And who on earth would still bother with DVDs in this hi-def age? :-p I do Blu baby, and you should too ;-) Quote

Fly4victory Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Will there ever be a DVD with subs? I was sure I heard somewhere that Macross zero had subs in its DVD. The Macross Zero DVD's that Valk Exchange sold had sub-titles but I don't know about the new releases. Quote
azrael Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 The Macross Zero DVD's that Valk Exchange sold had sub-titles but I don't know about the new releases. Those were the HK bootlegs which you can find around the 'Net. Quote
UN Spacy Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Sorry if it's been asked before. Have you guys heard the audio commentary from Kawamori and the voice cast that was on the Frontier DVD's? Quote
ackem Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Sorry if it's been asked before. Have you guys heard the audio commentary from Kawamori and the voice cast that was on the Frontier DVD's? Alto's voice actor talks a bit about Top Gun without actually naming it and Kawamori brings up the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco and says that it's like having 30k Bobbies all gathered in one place . Also Nakajima Megumi was foolish enough to go to the first recording wearing heels so she had to take them off after a while. It's been a while since I listened to it so this is all I remember. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, can anyone vouch for the Malay ebay dvd releases (of Macross Frontier)? hows the quality? Thinking of picking up a set and save me the hassel. Kinda like i was going to do all along, like with my Mac Zero set... Bandai i'd sure love to buy offical subtitled releases from you!
