ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Yes, along with Harry Potter part 1 & 2 Deathly Hollows this is definitely a must see at the cinemas! Quote
Hikuro Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Hm seeing that sneak peak trailer from Comic Con I'd say this could be an interesting movie...who knows? Kind of sucks that it's all CG using the same idea for Jeff Bridges as they did with Arnold for Salvation. Quote
505thAirborne Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I remember seeing the original Tron in theaters as a kid, So I'll have to go see this one too, Looks like fun too me!! "Its just a game...." "......Not anymore" Quote

Gui Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 He changed of face since the last update As long as he doesn't look like Neo... Quote
Effect Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I can't wait for this. It's about time Disney allowed a sequel to be done. Quote
peter Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Say goodbye to TR2N. Say hello to TRON Legacy. Anyone upload this second clip? Quote
taksraven Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Really enjoyed the teaser/trailer for this film. Like a little enclosed story rather than all the random shots from the film. Cool. I thought that the Dude looked pretty cool and healthy in the clip too. He looked like a train wreck in Iron man. Taksraven Quote
Duke Togo Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 Only thing that bugs me is no announcement of Bruce Boxleitner yet, how can you have Tron without Tron!? I believe this was confirmed a while ago. He's in it. Quote
Keith Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I believe this was confirmed a while ago. He's in it. Sweet, then now I want a sweet Tron remastered Bluray, and that Space Paranoids game multiplayer onilne at the playstation store!!! Quote
VFTF1 Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 TR2N sounds like it's going to be good. It's almost as if they're basically making everything I loved as a kid just for me. Pete Quote
taksraven Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 TR2N sounds like it's going to be good. It's almost as if they're basically making everything I loved as a kid just for me. Pete The problem, however, is that this situation means that we are all really living in the past. As nice as it is to revisit the past, I still want to see new mythologies and new ideas. Does this mean that we are going to see new Automan on TV?? I hope not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bagging out Tron or anything, i just want a more creative hollywood. Taksraven Quote
CoryHolmes Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 i just want a more creative hollywood. Creative... hollywood? Me no grok. Quote
Hiriyu Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) I am quite looking forward to this one - I loved the original as a kid, so much so that I programmed my own light cycles game in Atari Basic back in the day. I am also embarrassed to note that I have probably seen the original movie in the theater more times than anyone else on the face of the earth, but not necessarily due to choice... See, way back when, TRON was released just slightly before E.T. What was that, '82, '83? I actually went to see TRON once with my family, and a couple/few other times with friends. Saw it of my own accord maybe 3-4 times total. When E.T. came out, it became one of those must-see movies, and at any theater, there were invariably lines stretching around the block to see it. On the multitude (oh, god, I don't know how many times) of occasions that I attempted to see E.T with various friends and family groups, and failing to get in, we would invariably sit in on TRON instead... Bringing my in-theater viewership of TRON to some incredibly high number. I can remember sitting in on TRON one time, when the over-played film and projector were so overworked, that the film melted onscreen (during Sark's address of his conscripts). That was cool. To this day, I have still never seen E.T. In fact, at some point, I decided that there was such a perverse universal conspiracy to *prevent* me from seeing E.T., that I consciously decided that I must *never* see it, out of sheer bloody-mindedness. Fact. Edited August 5, 2009 by Hiriyu Quote

electric indigo Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Yay for her bobbed hair. I like the stylized approach in the photo, I wonder if that's the general theme for the movie. The game visuals, however, look like a late 90s image comic. Smoke in cyberspace? And I can't get over how they mangled the logo... Quote
taksraven Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Everything about this movie so far has looked brilliant, so here's hoping that we may have a sequel that tops the original. Taksraven Quote
