captain america Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 I got mine the day before yesterday, great kit as always. I just have a few pieces to clean up then I'll probably get him painted up. I still have the old standing trooper in primer so I can knock out both together. I was looking at the boxes and unless I am missing a kit, did you intentionally skip XIII it looks like they are numbered and skip from 12 to 14 unless I am forgetting one. Uhh, Gnerl Fighter Pod? Quote
Ghadrack Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I swear I got one of those. I must have hidden it from myself, if I recall the box was bigger than the destroids, I bet I put it with my 3/4 built 1/72 Monster, better find it when I get home. Quote
Major Tom Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Hey John, Just wanted to say I love your works. As usual, you did a superb job on Kamjin. Now how about an Armored VF-1 in 1/72 for your future project? I've yet to see a decent version of armored VF-1 offered. The Arii kit is just not up to par with today standard. Quote

That would rock, but I'll bet right after Jon finishes the production molds Hasegawa announce the GBP kit for their VF1. Although chances are that will never happen as they have had years to do it and are now just following Yamato's lead and knocking out colour variants of existing molds. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Got mine!!! What can I say? The kit is awesome!!! It's going to be a lot of fun to build Quote
cobywan Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 The last week or more I've been on a Marathon kit cleanup binge. It's been a joy to fondle the kit parts while cleaning up the parting lines. Quote
captain america Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Speaking of fondling... Here are the instructions Probably not necessary for most of you, but I prefer to dot my Is and cross my Ts... Just to be on the safe side. Quote
cool8or Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Thanks Cap! And when you'll start to gauging interest for Comanchero? Quote

FYI guys the chopper is a BIG! its like those Russan Hines?(Spelling) They not little! Yeah, the Commanchero is absolutely massive! Bigger than a VF-1 if my memory serves me correctly. Stick it in a hotdog bun and call it a manly meal! Quote
cool8or Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Time ago I was thinking about scratchbuild a Commanchero using a Mil Mi 24V Hind-D/E model kit (But one in 1/72, of course) : But now I'll be waiting the Moscato version... I want it for Christmas as a gift from myself!!! Quote
yui1107 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) MOD NOTE: dont link to 2chan or 4 chan. When they go 404 it becomes porn sometimes! Edited October 27, 2008 by >EXO< Quote
Jasonc Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I couldn't find the link to make a payment for one. Is it too late at this point? Quote
captain america Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 (edited) Yup. Resin models are like wild flowers: beautiful but breif, and when they're gone, they're gone. This is why I encourage people to regularly keep an ear to the ground, so-to-speak. Edited October 18, 2008 by captain america Quote
promethuem5 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Hey, thanks for the instructions... I was home for break last week and finally got to open my K up... looks like a really fun little build, and even my mom was impressed with the face sculpts and the castings! We're both trying to figure out how you cast the face in the helmet so cleanly. Quote
