Chindenathus
I'm interested too! I am curious how "articulation friendly" this kit will wind up. I like to add joint kits to some of my static resin figures from time to time. Edited August 6, 2008 by Chindenathus

AcroRay
Amazing! Its great to see a pro work. Thank you for taking all the effort to allow us to look over your shoulder! I think, however, you might want to re-consider the facial scar. If you're seeing it in the unarmored line art and the helmeted closeup of him, that's an artifact indicating a shading area - the shadow of his nose on the cheek opposite the image's "light source" (3/4 roll-off, we call it in photography and cinematography). Using PERFECT MEMORY as a reference, you'll also see it on Exesdore and other characters in the lineart section - particularly those turned slightly off-camera. Kamjin's face, I believe, is supposed to be unusually smooth and even (for a Zentraedi, pretty-boy that he is), which you'll see in the animation art. However, I know you want to interpret his face in a more realistic fashion, so I'll leave that up to the master!

AcroRay
Yes, I believe that's one of the selections of images John is working with!
captain america
Hi AcroRay. Yup, perfectly aware that the line on his face is a shadow; you see that on many characters, I just figured I'd give him a little bit of history and character. In reality, the line is quite feint and can probably be covered quite easily during the build. Plus, I think that the scar was more visible and prominent when he had no hair. Things are a tad different now. See for yourself:

lord_breetai
It looks awesome... so how tall would a 1/72 Kamujin stand? I'm thinking it would be small but then I keep reminding myself not to base on the size of a Miclone. I'm not sure how tall he was as a Zentraedi, so yeah... how tall is this figure? And umm... did the AJACs project die? I havn't heard anything about that in a long time.
captain america
Roughly 13.8cm tall. The standard soldier is about 13.1cm tall. AJACS: that was Jorwar_b's project; I had merely been approached to sculpt it if and when sufficient interested people could be found. lord_breetai
oh I see... I was fuzzy on the details there. Anyway it's awesome and I want one. though I'd really love some 1/18 scale Zentraedi to play with my joes! (yay for 20" figures)... but no ones going to be crazy and make those. AcroRay
Perhaps someone would be willing to make a conversion kit or two. Like a Bretai head shoes & belt buckle, leaving the builder to make his uniform....

AcroRay
Conversion kit for what? For a GI Joe or Dragon scale figure. (Kind of like Henshin Cyborg...) But that would probably be a discussion for another thread...
big F
That would be great a 1/6 figure made into a Zentran would be about correct for 1/48 or 1/55 Just to let all know the Samurai Monkey Forums have been hacked and Everyone will have to Re- register to see them again. Rob is rebuilding the site at this time.

Nah, I meant a figure roughly 20" or so to tower over my 3 3/4" GI Joes. But yeah discussion for another thread.
