ruskiiVFaussie
The other thread is getting too big anyhow. Good review though, it seems you weren't really clamouring for the 1/60 scale G-Man? Edited July 20, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie
Sulendil Ang
Kudos to Graham for the review! The 1/48 Valk really look nice, definitely a must have.
OmegaD3k
Awesome review!! Can't wait to pick this one up! Yamato has done it again! Also, gotta love the engrish on the fast pack instructions: "HOW TO INSTALLS"

Javabean
Tks Graham for the great reviews, looking fwd receiving my order soon. Beside Hikaru next release, the different skull colours for the fast pack seem a sure sign we will see a Max & Kakizaki release too! 1/1 LowViz Lurker
Good review. Lots of nice pics in this one too. Time to throw the 1/48s in the bin now.
ruskiiVFaussie
Yeah i gotta say how great the photos and scans of the manual are G-Man, thanks for your effort. Sadly this is not helping me hold out for the 1S hik or 1A max. Edited July 20, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie
Dante74
Good review. Lots of nice pics in this one too. Time to throw the 1/48s in the bin now. waitwaitwait! Before you do that, let me just PM you my adres. I'd gladly give them a new home for ya.
renkenjutsu
The 1/60 review makes me crave for it o.o;;; (precioussssss)
1/1 LowViz Lurker
Would have been good if this thing had the side parts. It's a part of the mech for crying out loud. Just as much as the intake covers are.
MacrossMan
Wow! I can't believe I'm typing this, but it looks like my 1/48's will be transitioning back into their boxes as well replaced with 1/60's as they are released! I am stunned at how perfect this thing is! OO
ikhii
Great Review, So, from what Graham was saying, it is a two-seat design. Lets have a preview of what's next to come in the valk line thanks for the pics and if you don't mind me borrowing it and edit it a bit. Enjoy and start dreaming about it. ikhii
Godzilla
Wow! I can't believe I'm typing this, but it looks like my 1/48's will be transitioning back into their boxes as well replaced with 1/60's as they are released! I am stunned at how perfect this thing is! OO BLASPHEMY! You will anger the 1/48 gods. I am only putting one 1/60 on display with my other 1/60s but the 1/48s will stay displayed. Duymon
Honestly I don't see why people are like "omg it's better than the 1/48".... the 1/48 has been around for like 7 years Will I be picking these up? Probably not, because I'm very happy with my 1/
Kyp Durron
According to Swoosh's pics here : http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...st&p=628711 It looks like the skulls are much straighter than on the 1/48's. Looks good enough to me! -Kyp

Chowser
Looks good, I'll probably pick up some that are variants that weren't released regularly for the 1/48. I'll display my 1/48s by themselves, and then have a 1/60 section. come on officer's pod...my old matchbox pales when sitting next to my q-rau
Vifam7
I'd like some comparison pics to the old v1.0 1/60.
EXO
It's funny how some people will buy 3 of the same scale to display each mode but not display different scales together in each mode. I need a 1/24 to display in fighter...
Anavel
Since the other thread was locked.... Do the missile boxes still double as storage containers?
David Hingtgen
Hmmn--both Swoosh's and Graham's have the right fin skull a bit crooked---and I am VERY picky about that---I may wait for a second run. Of course, it could get worse with the next run. PS---hey Yamato--what's up with the bright shiny silver screws? All the other VF-1's and the YF-19 etc use dull black screws which are FAR less obvious. Use black ones next time!!!!!! PPS--why no printing on the boosters? They even did that on the early 1/60. Omni Existence
pics and review sounds impressive, and personally it does look great. but with the previous VF-1's (60's and 48's) that I've purchased, I really can't bring myself to buy more-impressive as it seems... at least not yet. I didn't really notice the crooked right skull, since niether posted a straight-on shot of the right fin (until recently), but you are right. Yamato got it right on the VF-0S and a few select 1/48 runs, why couldn't they get their act together on this one, given all the other QC improvements?? Whenever I get mine, I'm using flat paint to touch up the screws. Edited July 20, 2008 by ghostryder
Taylor_VFA122
the YF-19 and 21, and the VF-0S are all 1/60 why does the 1/60 VF-1S look so tiny?
Sumdumgai
the YF-19 and 21, and the VF-0S are all 1/60 why does the 1/60 VF-1S look so tiny? Because it is in scale to the YF-19 and YF-21. Check out the stats on the Macross Compendium, the VF-1 Valkyrie is a small fighter. The VF-0, SV-51, YF-19, and YF-21 are much bigger. The VF-11 is being retconned to be larger than the stats in the Compendium, as Kawamori feels he made the size stats too small.
