macross1979 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 The second they process your order OD charges you so yes. Damn. Guess I'll have to wait then. Thanks for the answer.
ron5864 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Here's a VF-1D with some frequent flyer miles on it...
jenius Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Great, now somebody at Yamato has fired up the airbrush machine to make an exclusive "weathering edition" VF-1D after seeing how well yours turned out.
macross1979 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Here's a VF-1D with some frequent flyer miles on it... Your work is always the tops. I don't know how many times I can say that...but it will always be true. It looks amazing mate. GREAT JOB!
MacrossMan Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Here's a VF-1D with some frequent flyer miles on it... Damn that's awsome Ron! The weathering really brings the panel lines out. Great job man!
izzyfcuk Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I just want to say that i have the chance to see both the Yamato Roy 1S and Hikrau 1S in person and to own it, but modellers' skillz is really better than yamato's, though i have to give them credits, it's not half as bad, just that it could have been better.
ron5864 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Damn that's awsome Ron! The weathering really brings the panel lines out. Great job man! Thanks Macrossman. But wait....there's more! A flesh color paint and surprised (South Park-ish) look were added to Hikauru and Minmei.
macross1979 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Thanks Macrossman. But wait....there's more! A flesh color paint and surprised (South Park-ish) look were added to Hikauru and Minmei. How cool! Would that be extra?
ruskiiVFaussie Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Thanks Macrossman. But wait....there's more! A flesh color paint and surprised (South Park-ish) look were added to Hikauru and Minmei. LOLLLLLLL they are awesome LOL
Jasonc Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Hikaru and Minmay look scared Sh*tle$$!!! That expression is just priceless. I feel an episode of Robot Chicken coming on somewhere. LOL, Great job on the weathering.
Agent-GHQ Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Ahh.....frack! Overdrive says "No weapons will be included!" If I'm not mistaken, didn't the DYRL Moive showed it attempt to fire Zentradi!?
eugimon Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Ahh.....frack! Overdrive says "No weapons will be included!" If I'm not mistaken, didn't the DYRL Moive showed it attempt to fire Zentradi!? are you talking about the VT-1? If you remember, hikaru flips it over in gerwalk and fires and we just see the sensor dish/head just sitting there. The VT-1 is never shown with weapons in DYRL.
Black Valkyrie Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Thanks Macrossman. But wait....there's more! A flesh color paint and surprised (South Park-ish) look were added to Hikauru and Minmei. Woah ! pretty neat, S-E-M-P-A-I !
505thAirborne Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 The VT-1 is a trainer only, No weapons or Armor for the Arms are provided in the line art & DYRL movie. Its why Hikaru flips his fighter back over & hauls A$$ to get away!!
miriya Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Can someone leak some pre-production shots of the VE-1? There must be something somewhere that someone could somehow summon.
novaflo Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 VF-1D!! OH HELL YES. Could this mean that the Ostrich and Elintseeker are up next? http://item.rakuten.co.jp/digitamin/yl47/#10024506
kanedaestes Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I am thoroughly awaiting the arrival of the Elintseeker, one of the best and coolest looking valks and still hold up 27 years later.
MacrossMan Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Here's my thought on how the transition from the VF-0 to the VF-1 went. Keep in mind these pictures are totally out of scale, the characters are not non-cannon, and is only my rendition of how the VF-0 was retired as the VF-1 came into play. You'll have to forgive the guy on the catwalk in the first pic. He suffered a heart attack and went unconscienous at first site of the new VF-1.

But for the purpose of the toy, I think it sould have came as standard. Much like the 1/55 VT-1 and VE-1.

I'm glad that you finally received that VF-1D we've all been raving about.
Kyp Durron Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Thanks Macrossman. But wait....there's more! A flesh color paint and surprised (South Park-ish) look were added to Hikauru and Minmei. Lmao, I too had flashes of Robot Chicken when I saw those pics. -Kyp

the_foul_fowl Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Wow! Thanks! I'm skipping the VT-1, but that VE-1's a sure get... any expected release date?
anime52k8 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Some pics of the new VE-1 by Yamato. OMG SWEET!!! this is going to be crazy expensive but I don't care. I NEED IT!!!
eugimon Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Oops....sorry it's VE-1 my mistake hah, I was actually fixing my own mistake.
Dobber Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 AWESOME!!!! It looks like the wings won't have the weapon hard points so we'll have nice smooth wings for these unarmed Valks. Also, I didn't know the the VT and VE had different vertical stabs too. Nice. Booth are so going to be mine! Chris
nightmareB4macross Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Both the VE-1 and the VT-1 look incredible. I love the added details within the leg fenders. The sculps look incredible. Just one minor issue, I hope they reduce the height on those extended "Wings of Mercury" type antennae on the back boosters. They look awkward on the VE-1.
Ignacio Ocamica Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Wow, finnally some new pics for the VT-1 and the awaited VE-1!!! Already preordered the VT-1, now where's the preorder button for the VE-1?
