Lynx7725 Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Hmm. Wonder if a Virgin Road Super 1D would look good.
miriya Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 No "Just Married" decals or tampo printing? Macrossman, that is a good point. The Hasegawa did have those.
505thAirborne Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 This was not hard to predict since the established VF-1D trainer. I kinda saw it coming, I just didn't think this soon!! Either way I like it!!
logos Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I think it's a little to close to the Max and Mira and VE-1 releases. I wish they kept it to one item per month.
Roy Focker Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 A little help please Just got my first V2 today the VF-1D. Having problem figuring out battroid transforming. Mainly how to separate the legs from the body. See page 12 steps 01-03. Do I push the leg towards the body and then forward? I've push it about every direction but it isn't giving. I sure I have to use more force but I don't want to direct that force in the wrong direction.

I am at work right now and can not access it, but do a search there and you should find it without any problems.
Roy Focker Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_057/index.html To be more clear. I'm trying to get the legs/hip separated from the body in Gerwalk mode to go to Battroid mode.
miriya Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 To be more clear. I'm trying to get the legs/hip separated from the body in Gerwalk mode to go to Battroid mode. Mine is tight there too. I hold the fuselage with one hand and snap out the legs with the other with a little bit of an angle in. It can be a bit scary.
Roy Focker Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Found a youtube video and got the part moving. Seem to have been an extra layer of plastic. Worked this time crossing fingers it does break the next time.

Omegablue Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 (edited) After re-watching the Virgin Road episode, I really do hope that the Valk comes with an additional pair of Max and Millia but wearing helmets. Or least some pilots. As I noticed in all the pics thus far (Hobby search and ect) none of them show the virgin road with any missile pods or the gunpod. Hope this won't be the case, as at the end of the episode it did do battle? As for the VE, I still feel it needs missile pods and the gunpod options. It is after all a long range reconnaissance plane, and does need some form of defence, albeit even though it can't mount a gunpod, but at least some missiles? Edited July 13, 2009 by Omegablue

I just double-checked the product desc for you; the VF-1D VR does come with the standard gunpod and missiles. There seems to be none for the VE-1 though.
logos Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Hobby Search is taking pre-orders on the Virgin Road now: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10094540 Comes out in September.....the same time as the Elint.....followed by the Max and Mira in Oct.......damn! So many purchases so little money!
VFTF1 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Have there already been pictures shown of the VF-1D Virgin Road? Pete
VFTF1 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Why does Max have green hair? It should be blue. I'm not getting that unless Max has the right hair color Pete
derex3592 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 oh MAN! Look at the sheer amount of tampo GOODNESS on this thing! I'm stoked!
Vi-RS Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 oh MAN! Look at the sheer amount of tampo GOODNESS on this thing! I'm stoked! The VR in picture is painted prototype, not actual mass production unit.
VFTF1 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 The VR in picture is painted prototype, not actual mass production unit. Party pooper! I'm also excited for this Virgin Road Pete
SchizophrenicMC Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Why does Max have green hair? It should be blue. I'm not getting that unless Max has the right hair color Pete "Screw the rules, I have green hair!"
derex3592 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 "Screw the rules, I have green hair!" Yeah, it looks a little green...it was kind of a blue green/teal in the show....hopefully they color it a little closer to the anime on the production model. AND ALL THAT TAMPO better be there too!!!!

There seems to be none for the VE-1 though. Thanx. Well yes I'm happy about the inclusion of the weapons, but without additional pilots, I'm gonna wait until this goes on sale... Or probably wait for some 2 seater low vis repaint.
Godzilla Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I think it is the lighting of the pics. It is clearly green hair for Millia but the blue-ish green-ish for Max. The cockpit canopy does have some coloration that distort the colors of those inside the cockpit.
Dangard Ace Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Pathetic. They didn't tampo all those "no step" decals. Just for that I'm only buying one.
Agent-GHQ Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 That would not make any sense if they omit the tampos! I mean, the prior release has the tampos. This could just be for photo shoot?
Dangard Ace Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Do you even know what "No Step" decals are? Yamato has never tampoed those.
eugimon Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Do you even know what "No Step" decals are? Yamato has never tampoed those. give him a break, he's still wondering how both Max AND Miria are supposed to fit inside that little 1d head.
Guest sh002 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 will the box say virgin road or virgin load? hlj lists it as virgin load which is pretty funny. max did probably have a load.
