MisaForever Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It was Raramia not Nene..... Oh? Well still They hardly had any development!!! :( Quote
Shun Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It was Raramia not Nene..... i thought it was Nene?! happened too fast... the pace for this episode is really too fast, esp the battle scenes... Quote
Major Focker Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 thought i heard raramia. actually thought canaria at first. thankfully, no. to the pixie fans however, i'm sorry for your loss. it was a direct hit, man, direct hit. Quote
ackem Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 i thought it was Nene?! happened too fast... the pace for this episode is really too fast, esp the battle scenes... Yeah, it was the one that hasn't had any lines in the show. And Grace said, "To think that this girl was the 'Little Queen.'" Quote
whispo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Guys .... I'm starting to think that Grace is a bad guy Quote
Garou Kuroryuu Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 So, Grace is alive? That b%tch! We all saw that one coming. MAN, I NEED TO WATCH THIS NOW!!! Quote
whispo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Rewatching the episode, the things inside Ranka's cells look like Vajra worms with one of the crystals attached to their ends. Quote
Garou Kuroryuu Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Rewatching the episode, the things inside Ranka's cells look like Vajra worms with one of the crystals attached to their ends. So Ranka is MF's Ripley! She's some sort of vector or Vajra Queen!!!!! ZOMG!!!!! Quote
Kronnang Dunn Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) From what I could tell, she is space dust. It was Raramia Rerenia, the red haired tomboy ... Not Nene ... Careful with the names... Guys .... I'm starting to think that Grace is a bad guy Did you watch episode 13? Edited July 10, 2008 by Kronnang Dunn Quote
VF-25 Messiah Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 It was Raramia Rerenia, the red haired tomboy ... Not Nene ... Careful with the names... Meh, I haven't bothered telling them apart. Knew one of them bit it, so when the name came up, I assumed it was that one Quote
magnuskn Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Can anybody translate what Sheryl and Alto talked about before he headed out towards the mothership? Quote
MisaForever Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Well, while I probably prefer Nene over Raramia just because of personality, I'm sad to see any of them go. I'm glad she went out fighting though. Nene strikes me as the motherly type to Klan. Quote
VF-25 Messiah Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Can anybody translate what Sheryl and Alto talked about before he headed out towards the mothership? Sheryl: Definately make it back here in one piece! Promise me you won't die. Alto: Thanks, Sheryl. I'm definately going to get Ranka and come back. Definately. Quote

Duke Togo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 My money is on Grace being an advanced AI being. The Galaxy is involved in some very shady stuff. Also, is Kawamori pulling an "Invid Princess" on us with Ranka? I sure hope not. I am still sticking with what I said last week, the Vajra were a lower life form that were either genetically engineered or altered through experimentation (purple crystal testing, anyone?) by the UN. I'm definately going to get Ranka and come back. stray Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 So... assuming the Vajra are using the same purple crystal fold fault negating technology that the prototype fold booster is using... How did Alto manage to fold in before the Vajra mothership? Hmmm.... Quote
Garou Kuroryuu Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Yep, you heard right. WE'VE ALL BEEN FOOLED!!! This is no Aliens ripoff.... not an Ender's Game ripoff.... it's... it's... GHOST IN THE SHELL!!!! Quote

Shun Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) So... assuming the Vajra are using the same purple crystal fold fault negating technology that the prototype fold booster is using... How did Alto manage to fold in before the Vajra mothership? Hmmm.... i also noticed that. but after some thinking: the vajra fortress obviously "planned" to defold later so that the first wave of Vajra gunboats will draw away the main NUNS forces, and the fortress is to appear behind Frontier for surprise attack. How they control the timing of their defold, i'm not sure, but can travelling speed within the wormhole be controlled? if so, that'll explain it. This also proves that the vajra are intelligent beings (at least their Queen would be intelligent enough to use such a strategy). EDIT: one interesting thing is - seems like the vajra queen was able to observe the battle scene from within the wormhole? and thats probably how the timing for their defold surprise attack was organized perfectly. tali21 Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I still hope Ozma spills the beans on Ranka about her past or a flashback on Dr Mao is shown before the pineapple salad Quote
LadyLuck® Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I just thought those NUNS wont put up a fight hahaha... nostalgic its like watching GITS and Eureka 7 Quote
DeeBot Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) I liked this episode less than some of the others. Too much mecha pr0n, not enough plot development, I guess. And the mecha pr0n didn't seem good enough to me to carry the whole episode... guess I miss those classic dogfights. The Vajra don't really have enough of an identity to fight that way. Some speculation: How do the Vajra know about Aimo? Perhaps they don't only assimilate ships, but people and memories as well... As for the Pixie that bought it, and those that are upset she didn't get enough screen time... have hope. Minor characters often get more attention after they're dead than when they were living. Cue flashback, maybe... Brera's reveal: I'm with the ones betting he's acting according to orders. It may or may not be true, but he certainly hasn't been acting in the Frontier's best interest up until now. Convenient that Galaxy has disappeared so nobody can answer any inconvenient queries... Vajra fold travel time theory: Don't know if you can control speed in fold, but you can always de-fold, wait around in real space, and then re-fold. Might solve the communication issue, too, especially with a near-instantaneous drive. Edited July 10, 2008 by DeeBot Quote

That's why I feel this battle is kind weird The pace of the chapter made it see even easily for the NUNS/SMS forces, in spite of the strategy of the Vajra queen Quote
whispo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) I think the Vajra just underestimated frontiers forces for this battle. BTW, just finished my new avatar , MUCH better! Edited July 10, 2008 by whispo Quote

Final Vegeta Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 They said D-Pulse Field. So this is the new PPB. The VF-171 got it, maybe even the VF-25. The VF-25' knife maybe it's really meant to be a PPB knife. FV Quote
Kronnang Dunn Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I wonder how the hell is Brera going to explain nearly killing Klan, fighting Alto and lots of other stuff... Btw, Ranka's mom looks a lot like Milia Fallyna ... Quote
Zinjo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Holy crap what an awsome episode Ranka's mom, a resurected grace, small weird things in Ranka's cells, alto with an armored pack!!! and did I hear a diamond force there ? Mitichlorians?!! Quote
whispo Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Mitichlorians?!! Maybe Ranka is the chosen one and when she dies at the end of the series she will be resurected, wearing a black armored suit keeping her alive *get a mental image of darth vader singing Aimo* Quote
