I also feel (and I hope I am wrong) Klan Klan is going to go out in blaze of glory, right when micheal realizes she's the only meltran he could ever love...than again, mostly everybody could just make it out okay....Kinda like the final battle in to M7, and the vajra can make peace with frontier and realize the error of there way and leave to find peace and happyness....but honestly who would really want that. Seeing the spoilers of the upcomming episodes The ones talking about energy/water/food crysis onboard the frontier , I could see city 25 itsel get blown up (I mean look at what happened in 14, when the vajra beam hit the shell!) aswell as the quater. Im expecting Luca to buy the farm and Ranka aswell or maybe Sheryl and Alto dying together (two seater Vf-25 style) I'm sure they won't let The Frontier fleet get off easy in this series. After all, Gundam00 did that this year , and that was even with a Season 2 looming. Why risk being called imitative? (Although character death doesn't seem to stick in Gundam-land, as evidenced by SEED.) Of cours eif this were Classic trek, all red-shirts should die. Its unexpected, creative, and actually kinda makes sense. Ozuma won't die (maybe, I havn't see ep. 14 yet) but will more likely lose a limb and take up on the drink enough to make even Fokker say I think you've had enough. Macross has never been a "kill 'em all" series...unless you happened to live on earth in 2010. I don't see that changing for this series. Leon is going to die for being bad. Grace will die if she is not dead already. Ozma will die before he gets to the Pineapple Salad. Luca is probably going to die and miss out on his steak. Cathy Glass is dancing with the devil and it may cost her her life. Brera is going to turn away from the dark side and sacrifice his own life to redeem himself and save Ranka. AND (this one is going to get me hate mail) I think that there is a strong chance that Klan is not going to survive this conflict. I can hear her confessing her feelings for Mikhail before she buys the farm. Ok, I don't necessarily think that all of these characters will be killed. BUT, I think that there is a strong chance that this Macross series could have the highest bodycount of main characters.
