yop i dont know if you a watch the introduction of the first episode of macross frontier but if you watch carefully you cant count and see all colonial fleets

you cant see:

from earth 11 fleets :

Megaroad 1-2-4-6-9 and 13

Macross01 Macross03 Macross07

and Macross Frontier

from Eden 10 Fleets:

Macross006, Macross009, Macross013, Macross015, Macross017 twice ( the fleet split /??? ), Macross019, Macross020, Macross023 and Macross Galaxie

so you have only 21 fleet

but in macross 7 the Macross 7 fleet is suppose to be the 37th colonial fleet

and you dont have any information about Macross 4 and Macross11

i m the only one who watch this episode 20times ??

do you think the timeline was change ?

Ack! My eyes! Use capitals!

Here is a list of known colony emmigration fleets.

Known Colony Fleets

Megaroad 1 – Commanded by Misa Ichijyo-Hayase, launched in 2012 from earth and reported lost in 2016. No trace of the fleet is ever found, and the loss of the fleet is kept secret from the public for almost four years. Also lost with this fleet are Hikaru and Miku Ichijyo and Lynn Minmei. The Megaroad 1 mission was to explore and colonize near the galactic core, despite Exsedol’s warnings to stay away from that area of the galaxy. Footage in the opening of Macross Frontier clearly shows the Megaroad 1 fleet going rim-ward until 2014, then turning core-ward until 2020-ish, and then turning towards the galactic west.

Megaroad 2 – Launched in 2012 from earth and heads directly galactic east.

Megaroad 4 – Launched in 2012 from earth and colonizes planet Eden later that year.

Megaroad 6 – Launched from earth and heads into the galactic west, deep into what is believed to be the Stellar Republic core systems.

Megaroad 9 – Launched from earth and heads towards the galactic rim.

Megaroad 13 – Launched in 2019 from earth to investigate the planet Rax as a possible colony (see below). The fleet arrives in the Varauta system in 2025 and are subjugated by the barely-aware Gepernich. Macross 1 – Launched from earth and heads towards the galactic rim.

Macross 5 – Launched in 2036 from earth to investigate the Varauta system and to colonize Rax. The fleet arrives in the Varauta system in 2043 and are defeated by the Varauta Empire and then subjugated by the Protodeviln after awakening Gepernich and Gigile. The Macross 5 fleet has a large percentage of Zentraedi colonists.

Macross 7 – This is the 37th colonial fleet, launched in 2038 from earth to find a suitable planet near the galactic core despite warnings from their advisor, Exsedol Forma. The fleet encounters the Varauta Empire in 2045, and after the first few battles discovers the truth of their enemy and the fate of the previous fleets. The Protodeviln/Varauta are defeated in 2046. The Macross 7 fleet is commanded by Maximillian Jenius, with Miriya Jenius as City 7’s mayor.

Macross 9 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic NE.

Macross 11 – Launched in 2041 from Eden and heads towards the galactic SE. The Macross 11 fleet is completely English speaking. Home of Fire Bomber American, claiming that Fire Bomber stole all of their songs, despite the obviousness as a copycat band. The Macross 11 fleet is mentioned in the radio dramas played on ZZNQK Zolan Radio Network in the M7 Dynamite OVA.

Macross 13 – Launched in 2043 from Eden and heads towards the galactic NE. Home to British Bomber, a cover band who translated many of Fire Bomber’s songs into English and receive a good amount of fame. Later the flagship is captured by the Black Rainbow terrorist group and modified for an assault on UN main headquarters in 2051.

Macross 15 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic core.

Macross 17 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic east.

Macross 19 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic SW.

Macross 20 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic east. Macross 23 – Launched from Eden and heads rim-ward towards the galactic SW.

Macross 25 / Macross Frontier – Launched in 20XX from earth as the 25th Macross class colonial fleet. Encounters biotechnological enemies near the galactic core.

M-Galaxy/21 – Launched from Eden and heads towards the galactic core near the Macross Frontier fleet.

Thing is you can't expect them to cram everything on a screen.

Macross 7 was considered the 37th colony emmigration fleet because there has been 30 Megaroad fleets and 6 New Macross fleets before it.

Macross Frontier is considered the 25th New "Macross" class emmigration fleet. With bigger city blocks than Macross 7 or 5.

Macross Galaxy was said to be corporate venture. I'm still trying to figure out where they put the New Macross battleship in there. It's different from the shell dome types we've seen before.

But Macross 5 had three shelldome city blocks. One I've seen with a New Macross class battleship. I'm not so sure if the other two were equiped with a Macross , likely Uruga class carriers.

If they were equiped with three New Macross' then Macross 5 is the most well equiped fleet known , with also a Zentradi Neo Nupetiet-Vergnitzs class as escort.

What the hell is Galactic North, South, East, West? I thought there's no North South East West in space.

Technically there isn't, but it's a common sci-fi staple-- and I've seen it pop up in real-world space news a few times-- an cliche that humanity uses the galactic core as a center point to dictate a N, S, E, W orientations based on Earth's plain of travel in relation to the core.

Hmm how accurate are your sources? The second half is correct but from my understanding British Bomber was created by a British Macross 7 fan site. Maybe I'm mistaken?

Macross RPG Sourcebook 3 The Galaxy was my source.

But does have have some discrepacies like the fate of SDF-1 in VFX-2.

It does have a general overview of the Macross universe.

macross.co.uk does mention a British Fire Bomber. At the English Fire pages describes BB is better than the other English copycat band Fire Bomber American.

Fire Bomber American sounds more like jazz than rock.

 Fire Bomber American sounds just like karaoke versions of Fire Bomber songs with two American vocalists singing over them...it sounds nothing like jazz.

RPG sources... <_<

Agreed, RPGs always fudge extra information for the purposes of their game play. I tend to not trust them for official continuity on anything, let alone Macross.

Oh source book 3 from the Macross 2050 RPG

A good effort but the author IMO made a mistake of throwing everything they could find accurate or not in it. Including using other made up fan stuff. British Bomber is a fan creation that Macross 2050 decided to include. I remember reading it and discovered things that were borrowed from other rpg fan sites.

The other error is that the Macross 5 fleet encountered the Varuata only months before the Macross 7 fleet not years since the two were in direct contact with one another before contact was lost shortly thereafter.

The loss of contact we learn was because the PD had attacked the fleet and captured much of the population for their Spiritia farm.
