Ladic Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) not sure what this movie is about, but the trailer looks interesting.... http://www.thomasjane.com/mutantChronicles/ Info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490181/ Edited July 3, 2008 by Ladic Quote
Bowen Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 From Wikipedia: Mutant Chronicles is an upcoming science fiction/steampunk/horror/action thriller B movie directed by Simon Hunter. The story is set 400 years into the future in the 23rd century. The film's version of the world of the Mutant Chronicles role-playing game, where nearly everything is powered by steam, mankind has exhausted Earth’s natural resources. Four corporations have taken over the world in which they are constantly at war with one another, the Bauhaus, the Mishima, the Capitol and the Imperial. Sounds like it has potential, plus it has Ron Perlman Quote

Bowen Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Hehe, I just realized that it says 400 years into the future in the 23rd century Quote
Lynx7725 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 As lord_breetai implies, Mutant Chronicles is actually a fairly old title (for those of you who don't know that...). FWIW, there's also a 54mm non-collectible, pre-painted miniature game coming out from FFG, so for those of you hankering after minis of the Brotherhood or the Trenchers, keep an eye out for them. renkenjutsu Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I think I remember this from somewhere. Is it also a comic in 2000AD? I was 8 at the time but I think I kinda remember seeing a comic of it *scratches head* Quote
bsu legato Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I like Jane and Perlman, but this looks like direct-to-dvd in the worst possible way. Was that even the real John Malkovich in the trailer, or an animatronic puppet that looks like him? Quote
