Fort Max Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Bandai are doing a "movie realizaition" New Batsuit and Batpod as well. Quote
Necron_99 Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Nice. I wouldn't shell out $700 for it, though. Looks like i'll stick with my kiddie mattel tumbler for now Quote
Fort Max Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Hot toys stuff. nice as it is has a habit of ending up in HLJ's sale section. Quote
g3173 Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Hot Toys Modern Military figures are pretty insane too. You should check out their Appleseed Saga Ex Machina figures as well.... http://www.hottoys.com.hk/product.php?cat=57 Quote
rikiryou Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Wowie that looks friggin win. The Movie Realisation one came out too weird though with its strange proportions, especially the neck and upper body. Shame =/. Quote
sqidd Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I'm glad I don't have anywhere to put that thing! Quote
DarkReaper Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 The details on those action figures are amazing. No wonder they cost a fortune. Quote

bandit29 Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 BBTS has these up for preorder...EXPENSIVE I'll stick with my 1/6 Batman from DC Direct lol http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.as...amp;company=148 Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I'm going to burn in hell. I've just preordered the two vehicles and the new movie Batman, which means no other toys for me for what's left of the year. It's okay tho': even with all the Valks coming up, I haven't been this excited about a toy in years. I'm not a huge Batman fan, mind you, but I'm in love the Tumbler and I'm all about bikes, so throw in a Batpod too. What's another 300 bucks when you've already spent 800 dollars? Gotta go back to work. I have to draw a lot pages if I want to have the money for november (where's the hysterical emoticon?). Quote

Maybe you want to check ebay, with most Tumblers under $500 shipped instead of $800 from BBTS. $800 is enough to get you a Tumbler AND a Batpod shipped! Edited July 3, 2008 by mpchi Quote
areaseven Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Has anyone seen that Jumbo Machinder Batman at Toys "R" Us that's going for $50? Quote

transfan52 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 This is the only hot toys figure ive seen that makes me really want to get it but alas I neither have the space or the funds to buy that thing atm. Man the tumbler must be massive in person. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Think of the Tyco RC version. That one is also 1/6 and there's pictures everywhere. Total crap IMHO. Poorly sculpted, bad reception (you have to run after the car, otherwise it will stop ten feet away from you) and the front wheels don't move whatsoever, it has a small steering mechanism at the bottom of the toy, so it barely moves over grass or dirt. southpaw Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) what are the chances this medicom bruce wayne actually changes into batman versus needing two figs? Edited July 3, 2008 by southpaw Quote

southpaw Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 i knew the bike was big but from that perspective its huge Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 By the way, I just got this eMail from Joel at BBTS: "Hi - We've been able to secure a lower priced distributor who can also offer cheaper shipping on this item. We've dropped the price from the original $730, then to $650, and now to $589.99. The $589.99 price will be our final price, thanks so much for preordering with us! Thanks Joel www.bigbadtoystore.com" Problem with most eBay sellers currently accepting preorders for these items is that you have to pay up front, and I need time to save some money for this. I guess I'll keep my preorder for now. Quote
southpaw Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 after watching the movie I'll pass. the tumbler hot toys should have had the batpod built in already for only the price of what the hot toys tumbler is being sold. Quote
