1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) I've subscribed so I can view it when needed. EDIT WED 11-Jun-2008: I've attached the movies to this thread for those on slow 56k connection who can't be Fq'd visiting Youtube every time they want to watch it. (yes yes I admit, I love to download my redtube porn this way and burn it to disc! ) Fighter to Battroid: Part 1 of 4 YF21FighterToBattroid.part1.zip Part 2 of 4 YF21FighterToBattroid.part2.zip Part 3 of 4 YF21FighterToBattroid.part3.zip Part 4 of 4 YF21FighterToBattroid.part4.zip Instructions: 1. Click to download ALL files first. You MUST have the whole set before the next step. It's a single file split up into pieces. (I had to do this because the forum seems to have problem with bigger sizes for some reason) 2. Rename the files' name extension from ".zip" to ".rar". You have to do this step because this forum doesn't like other file types so I had to rename the ".rar" files to ".zip" when I first uploaded them, just so that they wouldn't be rejected. Even if you don't want to watch the movie right now, just rename the ".zip" back to ".rar" as soon as they finish downloading to avoid confusion. 3. Use Winrar to unrar (uncompress) the files (part 1 to part 4) to the directory you saved these files to. (go into windows explorer and rightclick on the ".part 1.rar" file and choose the "extract here" option on the menu if you wish. This is a nice shortcut to extracting to the directory the compressed files are in) WinRar will gather all 4 parts and combine them into the single ".flv file which is the file you need to open to watch the movie. 4. delete all the ".rar" files after the movie is combined into the complete "YF21FighterToBattroid.flv" movie file. You'll need a video player that can view the flash video file format, to watch the movie. Me? I already have a codec pack installed on my media player that supports the ".flv" file format though, so I just use media player classic to view like I would with any other movie type. Battroid To Fighter: Part 1 of 3 YF21BattroidToFighter.part1.zip Part 2 of 3 YF21BattroidToFighter.part2.zip Part 3 of 3 YF21BattroidToFighter.part3.zip Instructions: Use the above instructions for the first movie as the guide for this movie. IE 1. download all files to hdd before anything 2. rename the the .zip file back to .rar which is what they originally were. 3. uncompress/extract from .rar files to create the full .flv file. 4. cleanup/delete the .rar files and keep the .flv movie file for later viewing..then view it. If you have any problems getting it to work, let me know.. Edited June 11, 2008 by 1/1 LowViz Lurker Quote
Sumdumgai Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Awesome video, I'm definitely going to be referencing it the day I get a YF-21. Great video peolsedru! Quote

SuperHobo Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Thank you very much. This will be especially helpful when I get hold of my YF-21. Quote
Kyp Durron Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Awesome!! I subscribed so I can look it over when I finally get mine in. -Kyp Quote
EXO Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Thanks for that video... I've been using it to practice transformation on my valk all day. Except I realized I only have a YF-19 and now it's broken to pieces! Hope you're happy! Smug "I own a YF-21" bastid! Quote

1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 (edited) For those who want to actually download those videos, I've attached them to this thread. Might be handy for the 56k people or for those with a strict limit to their monthly DL from their ISP. Just check the update in my earlier post: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?s=&a...st&p=609267 Edited June 11, 2008 by 1/1 LowViz Lurker Quote
Scream Man Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 the only thing i cant seem to get is the belly plates to stay all the way closed, so there is no gap at the back in fighter. otherwise a big help, thanks! Quote
VFTF1 Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I'm looking at the video carefully... a small rectangular blue peace came off of mine... but there is no visible place that it could have come from... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Must observe carefully. I've been fiddling with it today to learn the transformation - Battroid to fighter- fighter to battroid. This is HARD. I've got the SV-51 down pat. The VF-1 is a cake walk. The YF-19 is also mastered. But this guy is hard... the 1/72 was hard too... Anyways - must find where the little rectangular bit popped out from... although... I wish it were more obvious - because I'm looking for "something missing" but everything is in place... where could the part have originated...hmmm... Pete Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 uhh...maybe they're the little square that cover where the fold booster attaches Quote
MacrossJunkie Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I think the rectangular piece is most likely the piece that keeps the stabilizers in place on the arm. Check both arms and see if one has come off. Quote
VFTF1 Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I think the rectangular piece is most likely the piece that keeps the stabilizers in place on the arm. Check both arms and see if one has come off. Macross Junkie was correct. The piece is reattached. I have now mastered the YF-21 after about two hours of fiddling with it. Just never got around to it before. It's not so bad once you understand where everything goes. Even getting the belly closed in fighter mode is not hard as long as you push the legs up into the..err..chest. A fantastic peace. Pete Quote
crescens Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) those vids are neat so detailed @_@ (yes yes I admit, I love to download my redtube porn this way and burn it to disc! ) :D :D :D :D :D Edited November 17, 2008 by crescens Quote
