azrael Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 No, check their website, they are indeed releasing RAW from now on. There's a lack of quality raws this week. xxxHOLiC Kei only has 1 raw out this week itself and it's from a Chinese capper. Hopefully things will pick back up next week. Quote

USCOLMRNE Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Kick ass episode. I am dissapointed Galaxy was not a New Macross class colony ship. In episode 1 it showed Galaxy had a Super Dimensional Aircraft Carrier Quote
Impreszive Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Holy Hannah! What an episode. It was like every awesome thing you ever wanted to see in 24 minutes. Quote
grss1982 Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 as requested... destroids http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1324/ep07destroidsip8.jpg vf-27 http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/1717/ep07vf2701ny5.jpg I liked that Ozma did crazy eye aiming as in M0 before launching his missile payload Haven't watched the raw yet, but from that screen cap, the Destroid looks similar to Zero's Cheyenne. ZOMG!!! Destroids!!! AND the Macross Zero Variety at that. Thanks for the pics Shun. Macross ZERO Homages this time? Quote
MisaForever Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 New torrent up at Nyaa Hmmm it might be the same file, just in Japanese characters. It's the same file size. Quote
Erumaa Giruberuto Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Sweet mother of God. Luca's capabilities rock, even if he is a little twit. I <3 his technology! Quote
Wumzi Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 By the way, why is everyone calling the new valk VF-27 ? I don't recall hearing that anywhere in this episode. Quote
treatment Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 (edited) This episode gave me some speculative ideas about Frontier's storyline... Considering the opening GITS-like cyberization, I think Brera is a "Special Forces" character let loose against the NUNS colonial ships. He is "special" in the same way as Sharon Apple was, for military and political purposes by whoever is really behind the Vajra. Also, he was really just observing instead of fighting the Vajra like the SMS crew were doing. He even shot Alto's (well, Luca's) mech! I'm rethinking now if the Vajra are really Protoculture or just a man-made experiment by a rebel group against the UNS and/or NUNS . Edited May 16, 2008 by treatment Quote
azrael Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Hmmm it might be the same file, just in Japanese characters. It's the same file size. Yeh, it's the same as before. Different tracker though. Quote
Mr March Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 (edited) By the way, why is everyone calling the new valk VF-27 ? I don't recall hearing that anywhere in this episode. I think at this point calling the "mystery fighter" the VF-27 is just a bit of educated fan guessing on our part. There was an early episode synopsis which stated there was a VF-27 fighter. We're assuming it's the VF-25-look-a-like on purple steroids that was seen kicking butt in this episode Edited May 16, 2008 by Mr March Quote
Revhard Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Well Zero-RAWS has same link to shinsen-raws version. SO lets hope it is real. Quote
taksraven Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Has anybody managed to get the Shinsen RAW yet? I am just interested to know if it is worth downloading? (400 meg for an mp4 seems a lot) Taksraven Quote
MisaForever Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Well Zero-RAWS has same link to shinsen-raws version. SO lets hope it is real. Where are you seeing the Zero-RAWS link? On Nyaa? Quote
Vinnie Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Where did you hear about that? Whats the story?? Got a link? (I am more interested in the cappers themselves, I would hate to think that people were jailed just for uploading stuff to the web, but I know it happens.) Taksraven Definitely not cool... 3 Arrested in Japan for Spreading Anime via Share Program - Anime News Network Quote
wolfx Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Animation complaints aside, there is one production thing I'm kind of dissatisfied with in the show. The audio mixing is really typical for a Japanese anime/game. The music and effects are too loud and overshadow the vocals far too often. It's extremely annoying when I want to hear the lyrics or the dialogue and not the sound of gunfire or a guitar. It's even doubly worse for me because it makes it harder to translate. =| Depends i guess if the music or the scene is the focus. In visual media more often than not its the scene that is the focus rather than the music. Remember the difference between Deculture edition and Broadcast edition's Don't Be Late? There was noticeable difference in both and its not just because of the scenes. Some people mentioned that the actual audio of Don't Be Late felt abit flat.....and I later found out this was because for 4 months we were too used to the heavy gunfire and jets whooshing sound in the DE that when we heard the song as it should be, felt very flat. Quote
azrael Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Tokyo Toshokan I think you're downloading the wrong one. There's only the FLV, the AVI encoded from the FLV (listed twice), and then the MP4. Quote
MisaForever Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I think you're downloading the wrong one. There's only the FLV, the AVI encoded from the FLV (listed twice), and then the MP4. Yea, Zero has no Macross episodes from today or yesterday on there. And the Shinsen/AniRena link still isn't working! ARGH! Quote
Vinnie Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Awesome episode. But I really need some subtitles. I thought being mostly mecha pr0nz I'd be okay without it, but I feel like I missed out on some key stuff without the dialogue. It left me strangely unsatisfied at the completion of the episode. Love the hints of the new song we get, need to hear more. WTF was going on with the Sheryl and Ranka floating in space communicating with each other and that slightly disturbing bulge in Ranka's dress a few minutes prior? I still Sheryl. Quote

MisaForever Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Yea it stinks.... every time I click on the torrent link, it says it can't find the address no matter which site I try to get it from. Quote
Erumaa Giruberuto Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Wow. I have to find that version of Aimo. Here's to when the OST comes out. Time to import, baby! Brera definitely reacted to the song Sheryl was singing. 'Kore wa...' would be 'That's...' Enjoyed the episode. Must know more about what's going on. Interesting that the purple VF moves in an odd way; notice it's contrail turns on angles, which is odd. Quote
UN Spacy Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I hope Bandai plans on making the other VF's in this series. Quote
broody Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 sheesh.. i missed a day.... 1 day.. and this thread is already 14 pages long? Quote
azrael Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Yes, we know about that one but it's not working and that's from Shinsen themselves, not Zero. Try going directly to Anirena's site (www.anirena.com) and look for it. At this point though, there's no seeder so you might want to stick to the AVI (or FLV) and wait a day. Quote
Gubaba Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Dodgy RAW quality aside...I wouldn't say this was the best episode yet, but it's way up there... As others have said, Bobby really got to shine here...the Quarter-Pounder has EARNED that nickname! And yeah...stupid Luca...but the Koenig rocks. (And yes, the new song's called "Infinity. And yes, it'll be on OST 1.) But...we're fourteen pages into the thread and no one's complained about too much boobie? This is NOT the Macrossworld I know and love! C'mon, puritans! I know you're out there! I can hear you drooling... Quote

I know you're out there! I can hear you drooling... That's because the only boobie in this episode is Sheryl's. Not too big (like Nanase and Klan,) not too small (Ranka-chan,) but just right... I imagine Luca had good reason for doing what he did. I'll reserve judgement on his actions until I get a subbed version. Although in the previews, it looked like he litterally "Had all his eggs in one basket"...wait what? Quote

Yass yass yass...Sheryl's a bit of all right, isn't she? I imagine Luca had good reason for doing what he did. I'll reserve judgement on his actions until I get a subbed version. Although in the previews, it looked like he litterally "Had all his eggs in one basket"...wait what? I'm sure he did...and it must be tough to gather data on a massive ship that literally appeared out of nowhere AND keep one eye on your surroundings...but it's fun to get on the little shrimp's case about it.
