Apparently, size doesn't matter for him, countering my previous theory of his preferences. - The war between Ranka and Sheryl has officially begun, and we can expect to see blood in the future. - There was a big Dynamite 7 feel to the singing scene in this episode. The description makes it sounds like a valkyrie except it is biological instead of mechanical. Leon mentioned it could be a bio weapon of some sort. I definitely like Ranka's rendition of "What about My Star?". Cat fights between Ranka and Sheryl in the future? Definite good stuff! Zentradi lingerie! Can't beat that! The Zentradi Enka Singer! Deculture! Seems like the anime has caught up with the manga. From the preview, the SMS is scrambling to M-Galaxy. I hereby name the farm animals "Hippocows"! Scenes from the mall suggests to me that they supply milk as well. The soft cream Michel and Ranka is having could be from them. M-Frontier should be named M-San Francisco! It's too similar! The Farewell Concert next week should be great stuff. More mecha pr0n please! Sheryl seems impressed with the forests and oceans. Doesn't M-Galaxy has the same thing? From what I get from her, it seems there are no full sized Zentradi on board. I hope when the subs are out I'll get a clear picture. Now I've seen everything...Zentradi Farmers! I'm eagerly awaiting a full OST/song CD for Frontier. The moment the shoppers started clapping to the song, was a really powerful scene which added a lot. Something is telling me we might hear something about the Megaroad-1, but I know all about SK not wanting to go there, so there goes my hopes. Maybe it profited from lack of action, although I think chara animation in episode 4 was done by two teams, the more fluid but unpolished one in charge of Ranka's contest. Even though the joy of someone who doesn't understand the language is reduced, this episode still feel better than former ones. My gripes are only maybe an excess of overall slightly sexual situations (I am counting here even things like the accidental breast-grabbing in ep. 02). (By the way, I like Klein Klan, only Luca bothers me because he looks too young: I originally thought he was only Michel's RIO) Although I bet there will be references in all episodes (ie all titles are in English like in the original TV series), in this episode all the situations were new (or so my memory tells me). This shows how Frontier can be good even on its own. Also, I am enjoying the character of Sheryl. She is both kind and defiant, feels very real. And because of this I can't help but feeling sorry for Ranka I hope they will be both happy by the end of Frontier and that only Leon will get the shaft FV Edited May 1, 2008 by Final Vegeta Quote

Yeah, I know they showed up just before it started, but she had to warm up her voice before hand. Hell, its not just Ranka or Sheryl. They attacked the Galaxy fleet with neither of them there. From the sound of things, they've attacked other fleets as well (and not just the 117th Research fleet). Having the Varja attack just because of Ranka just doesn't make any sense. Imagine all the upskirt-shots you'd get if you were a Microne walking in the Zentraedi sector, It would be too easy it would stop being fun. Did Sheryl suddenly come up with a song and want to write it down? A giant-sized panty being the best thing to write it on. If they keep this up, M:F may have the best Macross series soundtrack even surpassing the original *gasp!* That new Sheryl song was cool too. I suddenly have the urge to paint my celphone black and have that skull squadron insignia, Ozma's is frikin cool. I suddenly want to visit San Fran... brilliant! Which makes me think that the Vajra must've attacked the 117th Research fleet for similar reason - either Ranka singing (at age 4?) or her mum singing the Aimo song (to explain Ranka's memory of the song) just before the attack? In reality, San Francisco is 10% sunny, 40% very cloudy, 40% in the shadows of the tall buildings, and 10% tourist district. I wouldn't reccomend spending more than three days, tops, on an SF trip, unless you also want to check out the tomb-like bank buildings and hit up every bar, cafe and club. Quote

Ah women, so conniving yet so brilliant. Really liking Sheryl's character development, She's a Diva and yet she's still down to earth when away from the public eye and yet she's still a strong take charge person when the sh!t hits the fan. I loved this episode. I always enjoy seeing good character development. Plus, it was great seeing full-sized Zentraedi living normal lives for the first time. I really liked they way that the Zentraedi settlement also had facilities for humans. The whole setting nicely showed humans and Zentraedi co-existing in a peaceful setting. Quote
