Maybe it was in the vid itself, you know, there are ways of tagging videos and photos, that can't be seen in the file name, etc. Or they already have a file hash of every blocked vid, and they sort out uploads by scanning them (like virus scanners do to viruses). Whatever it is, it's really effective o__O

With the amount of people trying to get copyrighted or against-the-rules stuff posted on youtube, the floodgates would HAVE to be effective, or else the site would've been run into the ground by even more lawsuits...

But back on-topic...I love how, with each episode that airs, the track listing for the album makes more and more sense...

Well...I doubt it helps you much, halfway across the world, but I just ordered it from Kinokuniya Bookstore in Los Angeles. They're not sure if they can get it, though.

That's the Shogakukan Production official page.

According to Egan's notes:

-Volume 1 goes on sale around Mid-July (Not sure if they'll keep this release date).

-Issues will be printed bi-weekly and the first volume will come with a binder.

-Volume 1 is 590 yen, Volume 2 onwards will be 690 Yen.

-There's no ISBN # on it so most places may not be able to list it.

Well, I've just sent an email to Amazon Japan's customer service, to ask if it will be possible to order the Macross Chronical.

some additional stuff:

- A4 size

- 32 pages, cut-out sheets (similar to Gundam Fact File style i guess? same guys doing it)

- specialized binder will be available for sale at the same time (i think this means its not coming free with vol 1??)

if its gonna be similar to Gundam Fact File, there's gonna be ALOT of volumes, and cover alot of details.

Over Drive Inc. sent me an e-mail checking for fan interest in subscriptions to the magazine. Here's the info!!

We would like to do a quick introduction on how we would like to sell

the Macross Chronicle magazine series to our customers.

1)As this is a business and we have to get a profit out of this we would

like to charge $10 per issue.(Series probably will be over 50 issues)

2)Ideally we will accept only subscriptions. All payments including

shipping must be made before the series starts. (This is only ideally we will probably keep taking

orders for a limited period after the series starts)

3)As the series is by-weekly we will send the issue by airmail 2 issues

at a time basically meaning once a month.(Could be sent one issue at a

time but shipping fees will be higher)

4)Last but not least we would like to get over 20 people to buy

subscriptions from us for us to do this. As there are not 20 people

contacting us about this item at the present we would like to kindly ask

if there are anyone you know who would be interested in buying this from

us. If there are please have them contact us.

As there are not too much information on the series as of yet we can't

go into details but this is how we would like to do it. We welcome any

feed back on this topic. If there are any ideas or recommendations feel

free to send them to us.
