GONZO has started their war on fansubs by releasing subbed anime episodes on the same day as the Japanese broadcast. Tower of Druaga and Blasssreiter will be two of their shows this season that will be streamed free.

Anyway Druaga is a anime based on an old arcade game with the same name....not that it matters yet cuz the 1s episode was a whole parody episode...a very funny and good one at that! Unfortunately I don't think the rest of the series will be a parody show as it looks like it will become your standard anime fantasy fare by episode 2 and being a GONZO show, you tend to be wary on putting your expectations too high.

Oh well...i'll be catching this show weekly.

As bad as it is, I love the original Druaga arcade game. And as hard as it is, I loved Nightmare of Druaga on PS2.

Saw the 2nd episode. Feels very .hack-ish and as if the world they are in was an RPG game. Guess they dropped the parody.

Damn you GONZO....you sucked me in this far....i know you're gonna disappoint me towards the end. Bah...why don't i ever learn?
