GogDog Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 The only one I have is the Shoji Kawamori Design Works, featuring Macross, Eureka 7, and tons of other stuff. I was lucky and grabbed the last copy from HLJ some many months ago. I love that book. Quote
Vifam7 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 (edited) Any Recommendations On Mechanical Designer Specific Artbooks Interested in: Orguss Mospeada Megazone Macross Southern Cross I don't like Gundam at all no offense to those Gundamacs For Orguss, the one to get is Kazutaka Miyatake Design Works. It's also a good Macross artbook as Miyatake and Kawamori often collaborate together - to the point that some Macross mechs are part Miyatake part Kawamori. For Mospeada and MZ23, I don't recall any artbooks of dedicated to Shinji Aramaki or Hideki Kakinuma. There are some artbooks specific to those titles and the studio that they worked at though. There's two good Bandai Entertainment Bibles focused on ARTMIC works. Edited March 29, 2008 by Vifam7 Quote
drifand Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 A second for Kazutaka Miyatake's Design Works. Short of eBaying for OOP Artmic volumes, you might be interested in getting this book: http://benippon.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1211 It covers lots of popular designs like Mospeada, MZ23, BBC and also less famous ones like Zillion (which had a very nice toy made by SEGA).
