jenius Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Hmm , the Green Beta's underbelly parts are grey, instead of white. That's a little different. Like the Alphas, all the Betas have slightly different paint schemes (I think). Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Any chance that CM will reissue those Legioss fighters with out the Tread cuz of the cost. Quote
jenius Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 That's a pretty crazy mid-transformation pose. Quote
DarrinG Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I realize this is not Mospeada mecha, but can anyone spot the Beagle? Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 You're using the stand with the maintenance guy that is working on Kakizaki's VF-1A Do I get a cookie?? Quote
SuperDimensionalDave Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I realize this is not Mospeada mecha, but can anyone spot the Beagle? In the reflection of that clear vertical tube. I see a spectral Ride Armour! I want a Milano! Quote

anime52k8 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) ... dare I ask what your ASCII sig is? <---- ahem... when you see it you'll sh*t bricks Edited August 20, 2009 by anime52k8 Quote
CoryHolmes Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 <---- ahem... when you see it you'll sh*t bricks Well, I'd already gotten the front half of the picture It's just the back half and the character in question that was confusing me since I keep seeing Asuka from Evangelion. Quote
troyness Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Thanx for the feedback guys, hope you like my latest!! Quote
DarrinG Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 You're using the stand with the maintenance guy that is working on Kakizaki's VF-1A Do I get a cookie?? Yep - U get the cookie. Weird thing about that was after moving the Destroid maintenance guy after a few weeks on display, it actually left a little paint from his hand on the white chest piece. All my lights are florescent so I can't believe it got hot enough to melt paint . . . Quote
jenius Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 This sounds very similar to DND's old complaints that his pilots were leaving their butt paint in the seats of his 1/48 valks. Quote
DarrinG Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Oooo - butt-paint is never a good thing. The Destroid guy's foot stand fits pretty well into the Beagle arm though . . . (PS - where's the Phalanx!? I need more of these little guys) Quote
miriya Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 That is a really great pose and photo! Thanks for sharing it. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Fantastic pic!!! really want a Beagle now... dammit. Quote
JCSaves Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 That is one awesome pose! I wish I could afford a Beagle while still trying to afford all the VF-1. Quote
AcroRay Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 All my lights are florescent so I can't believe it got hot enough to melt paint . . . True - but they will contribute significantly to discoloration of your plastics, so you'd best keep them away from your toys. Quote
DarrinG Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 True - but they will contribute significantly to discoloration of your plastics, so you'd best keep them away from your toys. REALLY? I did not know that. I guess a toy collector should. I'll Google it. THX for the heads up. Is that why its a good idea to use incandescents or fiber optics in your display case? Quote
DarrinG Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Everything you wanted to know about your yellowing plastics - and more . . . http://vintagecomputing.com/index.php/archives/189 (protect your valks; this has been a psa) Quote
bluemax151 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 My MegaHouse stuff on the shelf. I've got a background behind them now though so maybe I'll get around to shooping it to look a little cleaner. Quote
troyness Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Thats hot DarrinG!!! Thanx guys for your kind words, glad you liked some of my pics. Please feel free to keep this thread alive with your Mospeada collection!! Quote
DarrinG Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Finally put my Eager / Scout Space Booster squad back together. I ordered them from an interesting place but they came in bits. I will probably add more detail to the eyes with 3 tiny silver bb's or something. Anyway - its very cool to have enemy mechs to pose with all these new Mospeada releases. If you are a fan and do not have the beta combo yet - get it. Had fun photoshopping the space battle. Working on another one with the Legioss / Alpha in soldier mode grappling with the trio of Inbits . . . (ps - drat that toynami for not doing the top beta missile bays, need them here in the space chase) Quote

derex3592 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) You would think even the idiots over at Toynami would SEE THE LIGHT and give us some good Invid-Inbit mecha SOMEDAY!!! How bad could they screw THAT up??? They don't have to transform!!!!! COME ON!!! Although as I sit here and think about it, in 1:55 scale, most would be pretty dang small....... That's why the scout should come in a 1/10 and 1/55 gift set. The other mechs should come packaged together as a different gift set. Then there should be a Corg gift set (featuring the blue eye and damaged scout). Then there should be a scout in 1/55 gift set featuring three of those mechs with snap on parts including space booster. Quote

That would be very cool, having the scout in scale with the MP bikes, and having the shock troops, enforcer, and Corg and Sera in 1 55 would be perfect! Quote
DarrinG Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I'm all for a 1/55th Corg. I hope they do it well, with the cockpit lowering feature and gummy pilot. This enemy mech seems so ideal since it can be released with 3 variations off the same mold. -- I got the Booster Scouts from this link ( not sure if they'll be anymore ) http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewt...106&t=23966 Quote
