big F Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Niffty but it's a shame they are not in a real scale. Quote
Knight26 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Graham is now staring at those pics of the VF-17 model and trying to contemplate the strange feelings of excitement he is now having. Anyway, what scale are they, and isn't the nose on the VF-17 shorter then that? Quote
wwwmwww Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 Anyway, what scale are they? 1/100. Check out the link at the top of my first post. The site has plenty of transformation pics as well. Carl Quote
klam1020 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) 1/100. Check out the link at the top of my first post. The site has plenty of transformation pics as well. Carl Well, the shape seems a little strange for me Edited March 5, 2008 by klam1020 Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 looks good, nice to see the VF-17 finally getting some loving Quote
Fly4victory Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 The nose on the VF-17 is too long. So how the unlucky few outside of japan get these? Really hope that Hasegawa and Yamato are watching IHP for ideas. Quote
Graham Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Wow, only just found out about these a couple of days ago. I gotta get me one of those 17s. Yes, while the fighter's nose is a bit too long, it's otherwise pretty amazing. I've always thought that you couldn't make a VF-17 toy with the bulky lower legs of the line art, while still keeping the fighter mode nice and sleek. The Experten versions seems to be a great compromise between battroid and fighter mode proportions. Certainly better than the Bandai 1/65 DX toy. Graham Quote
Graham Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 So does anyboy know if these were all ready released at the last Wonder Fest about a month ago? Or are they going to be released at the next Wonder Fest in August? Graham Quote
wwwmwww Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 (edited) So does anyboy know if these were all ready released at the last Wonder Fest about a month ago? Or are they going to be released at the next Wonder Fest in August? Graham I'm pretty sure some were at the last Wonder Fest as I've seen one of each on Yahoo Japan already. http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w21461920 http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e78196171 However I wouldn't be surprised to see more in August. Carl P.S. I've edited this post to included the 2 pictures used at the above 2 auctions. Edited March 28, 2008 by wwwmwww Quote
