Phadeout Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Hello Macrossworld! Long time no post for me (but I've been lurking). I was wondering if anyone could post some pictures of the new yamato YF-19 25th Anniversary version WITH the fold booster and fast packs installed? If you can, I'd love to see what it looks like. Thanx! Quote
Zx31 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 (edited) Hey, I just received my first Valk in the mail today, the Anni YF-19 as well as the Fastpacks. Even after reading all the posts on the forums about the problems with fastpacks and the answers to getting them to stay, I still had trouble finding the solution at first. I finally got it figured out with the following results. Unfortunately, there seems to be an abundance of dust in my room, and it really shows in the photos. The shoulder pads also are a bit high in the pictures as they had moved up while I was fiddling with getting the Fastpacks on, but they do sit flush when I have it done correctly. ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) wow nice! Thanks for the effort Zx31! Welcome to the forums of course. The FP's look brilliant, but can't say the same for the green light up woman pleaser, needs to be black or grey like the FP's. Lovely with the Fp's for sure. Zx31 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I was thinking about looking into the customs pages for tips on painting so I could try to replace the green with a grey that matches the FPs. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Cool, would love to see a Fold Booster actually customed, yours would be the first anyways! Quote
physioguy Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Cool, would love to see a Fold Booster actually customed, yours would be the first anyways! I sold a set of these (or two) on ebay so I know someone out there might have pics. Quote
Zx31 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I like that color, what did you use for paint? I was thinking about doing something similar but in a lighter shade. Quote
Phadeout Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 (edited) Thanx for the pictures! Now I really know what it looks like... hmm. I guess they do suite the original color scheme better, but those black/yellow painted boosters would look really great! Edited March 25, 2008 by Phadeout Quote
Ghostkiller Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 this would have been so much better for an anniversary camo my supernova inverted : Quote
eugimon Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 That's a fantastic scheme and I agree, it look so much nicer than what yamato actually put out. Quote
