Vifam7 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I was flipping through the insert booklet for the newly released Flashback 2012 DVD and I noticed 2 pics/screencaps that contained a neat in-joke. Scanned the 2 booklet pics: Someone on the Macross staff was a Star Wars fan. I don't remember if I've seen this in-joke before or not. But flipping through the booklet, I was like "hey, look what it says". Quote
Gubaba Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Now THAT's funny! I'm just shocked that someone at Big West had a copy of the script...I thought it wasn't officially released until the '90s... Quote
JB0 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I hereby place a request for a BetaRay release of Flashback 2012, so that the masses can see that in motion. Quote
Isamu test pilot Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Hey, that is funny now, but it is interesting, a really good detail by now in the Flash Back 2012 Quote
azrael Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 The creators are or were a bunch of sci-fi fans so that's not surprising. The name Stargazer from Macross 7 was from Star Trek:TNG. Quote
EXO Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 There was a picture of a Star Wars prequel CG animator or something that had a Minmay poster in his booth...IIRC. Quote
