David Hingtgen Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Question for those who have some of the Evangelion figs: Are the faces/heads/hair swappable between characters, or does each one have a unique enough shape etc that you can't mix and match? (and if anyone has the 2.0 Revoltechs, same question) Quote

(and if anyone has the 2.0 Revoltechs, same question) While I don't own them, it's most likely the Eva figmas are unique. Though you can swap out the entire head... Quote
Tober Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 New proto shots of Robocop. They have included the holster and interface spike. Quote
wolfx Posted April 24, 2011 Author Posted April 24, 2011 Woah nice. Having a nerdgasm here. Finally a decent robocop toy. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Does the leg-holster actually open/work, or parts swapping? Quote
GU-11 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Robocop...nice! Personally, I'd prefer an ED-209. It'd be really cool if they made one after the Robocop fig. Quote
shiroikaze Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Does the leg-holster actually open/work, or parts swapping? Looks like the leg covers do work, but the holster itself probably needs to be attached. Hopefully the production images will come out soon so we can really see. Also, is that muzzle flare on his gun? Quote
shiroikaze Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 She's out. She looks better than Alter's poseable Kos-Mos, honestly. http://blog.hobbystock.jp/report/2011/04/tp0640.html Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I still think Ver 4 is the worst version. 1/2/3 are all better. There should be WAY more ver 2 and ver 3 merchandise. Quote

bigkid24 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 That Robocop is pretty and I'm not even a Robocop fan. If anyone is interested I'm probably going to have a little group buy for them. Top end of the price will probably be $40 but hopefully cheaper. Quote
VFTF1 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 The last Figma figure to get my attention was the cute Haruhi Suzumiya junior high school version. Very happy they did her. Still waiting on Macross human characters though :-) Pete Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Robocop pretty expensive at BBS, for 57$ Quote
VFTF1 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 With all due respect to Robocop fans - but isn't it kind of beneath Figma's potential to make Robocop? I mean - what's the achievement in using your super poseable technology to make a toy version of something that - in "real life" - has pretty much zero poseability? It's like - what's next: Figma C3-PO? Pete Quote
EXO Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 The achievement will be the boatload of cash that Figma will get on a figure with international appeal as oppose to an anime audience market. If this does well for Figma. Expect to see more movie licenses. This was probably "inspired" by Revoltech' Aliens and other movie license success. Quote
akt_m Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) Does anyone know where sells online and ships internationally those counterfeit lower quality figma figures??? I've seen them at ebay, pretty cheap at 10 usd only, but wasn't one i was looking for. i'm not much into buying anime figures or other goods that's why i'm not willing to spend 70 usd on it... Tober Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 From the anime 'The Big O' comes a figma of the main character, Roger Smith! He comes with a three expressions - a standard face, a face wearing sunglasses and a shouting face. Also included is an openable briefcase and an extra arm part to recreate the scenes where Roger calls the Big O - "Big O, Showtime!!" Quote
Funkenstein Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Now Max Factory needs to make a Bruce Wayne figma from Batman TAS. Then the circle is complete. Quote
Negotiator Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Release date, July? Not up on amiami yet. Roger isn't some kind of jp exclusive, is it? Quote
m0n5t3r Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) godammit Maxfactory! when will Figma Archer come out?!?! i still can't believe Robocop and a handful of those KRs came out first in the meantime, i'll have to do with just his arm (sorry for the crappy pic) a la Nine Lives Blade Works Edited June 19, 2011 by m0n5t3r Quote
Negotiator Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Too bad, it is wonderfest exclusive That's depressing. Quote
Tober Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 They are not strictly Wonderfest exclusive though. They can also be bought through Good Smile Company's website. Apparently Good Smile Company also intend to open their website exclusive figures to overseas customers : http://www.facebook....15190685142 Quote

Mercurial Morpheus Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 How's the Dorothy? I'm looking to pick her up at AmiAmi for my dad's birthday. Amusingly, it'll be the first figma I buy, and it's not for me. Quote

She's pretty good. Solid, doesnt fall apart. Comes with pero and a broom. You can put her in action poses, but its very undorothy like. Her 2nd face has her eyes looking slightly to the left. The joints are tight. Although her extra hands' wrists are a little loose, but not floppy. You can get her arms up higher if you slip her pointy shoulders into her body. Quote

akt_m Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Besides hobbylink japan, any other site that also sells figma? I was looking for a hatsune miku one, but just found at ebay at a high price. Quote
