MechASsemble Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi all, I'm wondering if there is a current collection of Macross era figurines/models/toys around 2-3 inches (75mm) tall out there for sale? The guys are getting back together to do a bit of tabletop RPGing and I'd love to have some miniatures on hand. The mecha I'm thinking of include some Regults, Powerarmor, Destroids and VFs? Am I 20yrs too late? Can anyone recommend a retailer? Quote
Graham Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 I think the upcoming line of 1/200 scale Macross collection figures by Yamato will be just what you are looking for. Keep watching for news. Graham Quote
KiriK Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 If you can't wait till then... those Macross Pencil sharpener figures might work.... lots of VF-1s in all 3 configurations..... some enemy mecha and destroids... and even the SDF-1 Quote

And there are 1/200 yamato figs coming out soon? Any teaser pics? ;D Quote
Graham Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 You can see pics of series one of the Yamato 1/200 scale figures (less the secret chase figure) in the first post of this thread. Graham Quote
yellowlightman Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 There's also some older 1/200 scale model kits, although I'm not sure how easy they'd be to track down. Gaming miniatures were released for both Battletech and Robotech, back in the 1980's. They're pretty uncommon and last I checked they went for expensive prices on eBay. Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I seem to recall that there were some Macross eraser sets from back in the day, but as these were released about the time of the original series I doubt that they're likely to be cheap anymore... Quote
KiriK Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 i also know a guy who made his own custom Macross/Mospeada minitiares for Battletech.... check them out here BattleTech Macross Minis Quote
