imode Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Neato. Looks like the Yammy 19, except somehwat off balance. I think your tailfins are folding the wrong way tho. They supposed to fold inwards. Quote
NERV Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 definitely a yammie, i can see giant screws where they shudnt be, otherwise, not bad Quote
Commander McBride Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 definitely a yammie, i can see giant screws where they shudnt be, otherwise, not bad I'm pretty sure he did that on purpose.... Anyway, not bad. I've been trying to work on mecha drawing myself, I'll get some pics up when I can. Quote
Extra Large Mumma Posted October 25, 2003 Author Posted October 25, 2003 Here's another Yammie: Quote
Macross_Fanboy Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 That's cool! Are you working on the Gerwalk mode already? Quote
Myersjessee Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 Nicely done..you should try coloring one... Quote
yellowlightman Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 Cool pic. Am I seeing things or is that Japanese writing on the other side of the paper you drew the picture on? Quote
Beware of Blast Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 Your lines are rough. But I like that distinctive style - very confident, very bold. If you did those two as still drawings of your toys, not tracing, then you've got some skills there. Please keep it up! Quote
Extra Large Mumma Posted October 27, 2003 Author Posted October 27, 2003 Thanks for the comments, guys. Glad you like them. BoB, those are my free-hand drawings. I like to just draw with as little calculations/measurements as I can afford. That's the fun of it. Yellowlightman, those are English writings. The article paper has been stuck to the top of the scanner without me knowing it. It's a company scanner, BTW. The scanner's X-ray is too powerful. <_< MJ, will get to coloring someday. Macross_Fanboy, never thought about doing it. Thanks for reminding me. I'll try to get to it. imode, the first pic is my YF-19. It tends to look down when I have it in normal stance (spelling?). The only way I know to make the head look straight ahead is to bring the legs forward a bit. The tailfins can only fold that way. Quote
